Guys I just found a good website which gives you free_steam_wallet_card_c0dеs twitter.com/5bac2115baa17a42f/status/719079525670395904 AАAAlienware Steam Machine Review
the steam controller is the best controller i have ever used. it fits well in my hands, the trackpads work well, the wireless connection works great and the battery life lasts for an extremely long time. it has become my main way of playing some games, like tf2 and GTA V. i am yet to find any flaws in it so to anyone who is watching this video and reading this comment, don't let someones opinion change your own decision. Olli43 hates it, but i love it. so if you really want to know if the controller/anything else really is good or bad try it for yourself and decide on your own experience
I was surprised by how honest you were considering the whole 'sponsored by Alienware' ad at the start. Definitely not getting one of these, at least until Steam OS has improved
If you want a pc gaming "console" go with the Alienware Alpha because it has both Windows OS and Steam available. The fact that Valve delayed the Steam Box just for the controller goes to show that Alienware knew what to do long before Valve\Steam did.
Great review Olli! Very honest and well put together. I think these Steam machines aren't worth that price tag for what they are. Especially being manufactured by Dell which is a big no. I've seen too many Dell/Alienware machines fail. For around that price you could build yourself a fairly decent small form factor PC that would be guaranteed to run any Steam game of your choice, rather than being limited to a certain library.
+CrazyFish Hey I have a question. I have been thinking about selling my ps4 to get an i7 Alpha instead. What is your opinion on it, knowing how the Alpha is already?
+njleos3 Hi, the alpha is brilliant for general uses like word, PowerPoint, Internet, homework etc, and it is also great at the gaming side. However u are restricted to games on steam or games of the Internet (like minecraft) and the I7 would offer a fantastic gaming experience. So if u are looking for a much more gaming focused experience I would stick with the PS4, but if u want a general work computer which can play certain games then go for the Alpha. Oh and it doesn't have a dvd drive for games just in case u didn't know but u can buy external ones. Hope this helps, message me again if it doesn't 😃
The reason you cant play all games is because the game creators have not enabled the control inputs. But most of them will enable the control inputs once the steam machine gets popular
USB Cable is not a charging cable (unfortunately). Steam In-Home-Streaming (IHS) depends on good network gear. My wired network, 100mbit Netgear, performs like crap compared to a 5Ghz WRT-1900AC Wireless connection. QoS Settings and Network Priorities can make a HUUUUUUGEE Difference (10fps + CHOP compared to Butter Smooth 60FPS HD) The steam controller takes some getting used to. It took me about a week, but at this point (for the couch), the steam controller blows pretty much EVERY other controller out of the water. Try the gyro for aiming. The ability to play KB+M games on the couch easily with the steam controller is the best part. The first day or two, I agree... the controller is crap. But! I can't see how it's crap after playing with it for more than two weeks.
I'm extremely disappointed, I've been looking for a new gaming PC at a reasonable price (if you have any suggestions please share). After doing research I came across the Steam Machines and thought one could work for me but it won't. Thank you for the review it helped a lot . :)
valve is a competitor to microsoft it would be stupid for them to use windows or direct x graphics, thats why some games are unplayable, they use direct x.valve is turning to open gl,for some reason they love it.oh and feel free to criticise.
I would prefer this to any console if it would play all my pc games with no drawbacks. But I doubt that will happen. Probably will remain full of annoying features and people will just buy an extra ps4 or xbox one with the same games they already have on pc if they want to play them on a console comfortably on a couch. It needs a miracle in my opinion to get better than consoles, but I hope they will achieve that miracle. I hope someone will make a video in the future comparing this with same games to xbox and ps :D
You can tell Alienware looking at this review like, ''da fk! give us back our machine!'' LOL.. But on a real it's refreshing to see someone give their thoughts and not kiss ass like a lot of people do when they get new toys.
I really need an answer to this question can you use ps4 or xbox 1 controllers to the steam machine console and does it include almost all of the pc games.
Gamestop has the Alienware Steam Machine with i7 on sale for $375 wondering if it would be worth the money ? I am thinking I can buy a Windows 8 or 10 key and upload that on the machine and run it but not sure if I can or not
When you do a Video like this do you get a snooty email from Alienware shortly after, demanding that you send them everything back? with a little comment at the bottom of the email saying "Olli, damn it, we had a great things going and you just had ti go and break my heart"
+Entertaincube just remember if it wasn't for Nintendo, gaming may very well have stayed dead from the 1983 industry crash had it not been for the original Nintendo entertainment system. I have a feeling Nintendo is about to come back in a big way with the new Nintendo nx as well, not to mention the original wii selling over a 100 million units. Nintendo is a company any gamer should thank for their contributions to the industry
Right got it don't buy one, great saved me money. I would have swapped to this from console if it was a decent upgrade, because let's be honest ps4 and Xbox one are shite.
My computer has bad graphics and I can't upgrade it either because of what computer I have. I want to play steam games and I would happily plug this into my tv in my room so I can play things like rocket league, GTA V etc .. But my computer won't run it. Could this be a good option?
I'm glad he's a actually giving his thoughts, rather than making it seem like the best thing ever, since it was sponsored by Alienware
Yep
+Andrew Preston They sponsored a review that's all, wouldn't ever get bribed to say something is good when its not. Love you guys
+Andrew Preston yep

😕😑😐☺😊😀😁😂 up yours
srry sent that to wrong person 'my bad
You're
Tbh Alienware can't complain because it's only the parts made by steam that he gave bad reviews

+TreeAtmos y'know. unless you're trying drugs. normally that isnt something you should try for yourself
Olli found you a couple weeks a go and you are now one of my favorite youtubers thx:)
Gets sponsered but brutally honest about controller 😂😂
Title should be "Steam Controller slain out of the match" appriciate the honesty!
The controller really is personal preference. I love my Steam Controller - I use it for everything.
Thank you Olli for being totally honest. Most people wont make a good review like this. Thumbs up to you
I was surprised by how honest you were considering the whole 'sponsored by Alienware' ad at the start. Definitely not getting one of these, at least until Steam OS has improved
I love the fact that they sponsored you to review this and you absolutely destroyed it haha
I like that although the video is sponsored by alienware, you still gave your honest opinion!
Nice and honest review Oli,another great vid!
He's the opposite of Unbox Therapy. I like it
Could just plug your pc into a larger screen...
+Bzorlan but that controller tho
+Tuxedo Pug use a xbox1 or ps4 controller...
ebk bk oh no I worded that bad. I mean like. THAT controller tho. See what I'm saying? Like that controller is weird lol
+Tuxedo Pug could buy that controller and use it with any pc (that could be plugged into a bigger screen)
This whole thing is a huge waste of money. Why buy this if you've already got a pc?
I have the Alpha which is a Windows base steam machine made by Alpha I love it would definitely recommend it!
I really appreciate how he kept it 100
Olli is the best you tuber ever !! keep up the good work mate
great review olli I love your videos they are sooooo awesome and so is your channel!!

i have the alienware alpha and it looks basically the same as that buit runs windows and steam big picture mode its awesome
those product shots though
My alienware alpha is the same price and that runs windows and the steam machine layout, just get the alpha its brilliant
Is Olli43 Secretly a No Mans Sky fan? Because that would be fantastic.
R.I.P people with underscores in their names
Very personal preference. however it allows you to play pc games, and console games.
I got the same bb8 for Christmas
I recently bought a i7 version, was bummed when i found out i need windows 10 to play most of the entire full steam library.
nice BB 8 droid Olli
way to be honest and not overly positive. it seems like a gigantic waste of money.
The Alienware alpha is basically the non steam machine version of this. Has the same hardware runs Windows and comes with an Xbox controller
The reason you cant play all games is because the game creators have not enabled the control inputs. But most of them will enable the control inputs once the steam machine gets popular
Even though he's being paid to do this he is honest about and giving hes true opinion even though its negative. good job olli. pls keep up the videos
Ollie43 love you're videos!!
good honest review well done mate, keep up the good work
Thanks :)
+Olli43 can you play 7 days to die or Day z on the steam machine?
i have the steam computer and I like it. its great for gaming at least to me. my favorite computer.
Thanks, i found this informative
Basically they paid him to fuck up their steam machine, at this moment AlienWare knew they fucked up 😂👏🏼👏🏼
Nice review
Thank you very much
I have a question. Is there an authorized keyboard and mouse for ps4 ?
I would make a Steam Machine my next computer if it featured AMD graphics.
The Alienware alpha is basically the solution to all of these problems - Windows!
USB Cable is not a charging cable (unfortunately).

Dell asking: Do we really send that on this user? .. xD
lol they sent it to him for a review and he smashed it lol
Is the library better? Now I need to know so I can ask my parents if they can get me this for Christmas
You have the same TV as me olly
I'm extremely disappointed, I've been looking for a new gaming PC at a reasonable price (if you have any suggestions please share). After doing research I came across the Steam Machines and thought one could work for me but it won't. Thank you for the review it helped a lot . :)
What camera did you use to record that olli
thx for ur honest review :D
I have the Windows version of the alpha and it is way better than the steam OS version
Great video olli
well i might buy this in 2 uears if valve put in more games
valve is a competitor to microsoft it would be stupid for them to use windows or direct x graphics, thats why some games are unplayable, they use direct x.valve is turning to open gl,for some reason they love it.oh and feel free to criticise.
You should do Ksp

what are your pc parts olli
olli whats the difference in the fps on the steam machine and your computer?
You can tell Alienware looking at this review like, ''da fk! give us back our machine!''
LOL.. But on a real it's refreshing to see someone give their thoughts and not kiss ass like a lot of people do when they get new toys.
yea but everyone with a brain can see that this product is complete garbage. so it's hard to hide that fact even if u wanted to haha.
I really need an answer to this question can you use ps4 or xbox 1 controllers to the steam machine console and does it include almost all of the pc games.
hey olli, would you recommend this to a person who dose not have a PC but wants to play games on steams and stuff like that?
when is it out ?
5:51 what's this game called?
Isn't a steam machine supposed to make steam?
could you wipe the HD and load windows onto this and just use it as a small living room PC ?
Cool but I don't think I would ever buy one I prefer a traditional gaming PC
+Olli43 Would you recommend building a PC or buying Alienware?
+VaultDwells I'm not olli but I prefer building a pc, it's cheaper and gets more performance
+VaultDwells of course build your own PC.. who the fuk buys Alienware? :D
I rather get the alpha with Windows 10 then the one with steam OS
Brendan Mehling why
does your PC have to be turned on and or running Steam while using the Steam Machine
Can you play the first Witcher and the dead space trilogy on the steam machine?
Does obs work on this
hurry up with the snow mega ramp
"honest" sounds like paid off review to not talk bad about alienware at all
2:37 As bayrakları
Oli I order on of those on Christmas and mine came into today and the controller is very weird
Gamestop has the Alienware Steam Machine with i7 on sale for $375 wondering if it would be worth the money ? I am thinking I can buy a Windows 8 or 10 key and upload that on the machine and run it but not sure if I can or not
3:49 can any tell me this games name
Looks Very nice
olli my man I have to go to school
When you do a Video like this do you get a snooty email from Alienware shortly after, demanding that you send them everything back? with a little comment at the bottom of the email saying "Olli, damn it, we had a great things going and you just had ti go and break my heart"
can you connect this machine to a monitor and use it as a desktop
Skyrim? Also mods? If not then I don't see why you would get this and not just a gaming computer you could make for about the same price I would say.
You could install Windows 10 on this thing though... Right?
there's a Windows 10 version is exactly the same but just with Windows 10 and more game compatibility
Actually, you can install mac os because its a intel
thx olli iwad gonna buy the controller to play just cause 3 thx allot i was gonna waste about60£ on my birthday thx olli
hey so my xbox one just broke and I was looking into getting this do you recommend it
Does it run off of a pc or is it a stand alone device. Might be thinking of the wrong thing though
I have problems setting it up because when I tried to log in to my steam account, the button didn't work for some reason. Please help me
it actually does run windows
The Alpha does by default - not the Steam Machine. You can install any OS on either.
Alienware Steam Machine review gone wrong
The Controller.....Damn it worse then the Wii Remote
Nevermind nothings worse the things from Nintendo
+Entertaincube just remember if it wasn't for Nintendo, gaming may very well have stayed dead from the 1983 industry crash had it not been for the original Nintendo entertainment system. I have a feeling Nintendo is about to come back in a big way with the new Nintendo nx as well, not to mention the original wii selling over a 100 million units. Nintendo is a company any gamer should thank for their contributions to the industry
Love the Wii-mote, love the Steam Machines.
Yo dude it is possible to install Windows on to that device but it's really complicated
Right got it don't buy one, great saved me money.
I would have swapped to this from console if it was a decent upgrade, because let's be honest ps4 and Xbox one are shite.
I think for a pc/console thing it's too expensive. I know pcs are expensive but I see it's more of a console to me.
Why don't you stream any more?
Does it mean I can Play Planet Coaster on my Tv?
There is a device with Windows and it comes with a Xbox 360 controller
don't go for the steam machine go for the alpha it's way better and comes with a 360 controller and has Windows and internet explorer
A fatal error I see at the end?
My computer has bad graphics and I can't upgrade it either because of what computer I have. I want to play steam games and I would happily plug this into my tv in my room so I can play things like rocket league, GTA V etc .. But my computer won't run it. Could this be a good option?
I thought this was an IGN video which i always ignore :/
Well that made my mined up to get one or not
