these open mud flap tyers look good when you go in rain or wet you back get cover in spash or rain dirty water from the road. So futting the back Tidy is good idea. I had to fix a back tailrack on a Honda C-90 it took me 2 days of hard work so much wiring. to deal with.
Mr. Earl - would you know if there is a diagram or instruction to remove the plastic cover under the seat/fender to begin the install. I have a 2024 R3GT and am struggling to find something to show how that is completed before I begin the actual install. Looks great by the way!
Hey, yes it's quite easy just two screws under seat inside and slide the undertray to open - navigate pages 15 and 16 from this Installation Instructions (just press URL) - evotech-instructions.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/instructions/016017+triumph+rocket+tail+tidy+fitting+instructions.pdf
Earlster, my question is, that once you remove that back rear tire guard, if you were to ride in wet weather would the water come up and splash you on your back? Or, would the water not make it up that far?
Good Question, water spray up the back regardless if it the original is on or off, TBH I've noticed no difference rinding in the rain. There is a full rear wheel mudguard you can purchase.
I had the evotech tail tidy on my rocket 3R and the water spray is horrendous. Living in Scotland, I often get caught in the rain and the water comes right up to the back of my helmet and jacket, runs down my back and fills up the seat so I ended up sitting in a puddle. I got all the bits to put it back to stock and it is miles better. I still get a very wet and dirty swinging arm but only have a few splashes up onto the pillion seat now and nothing on the back of my jacket nor on my helmet. 👍😎
@@colinblance7271 Thanks for watching, and sharing your views, it's not for everyone, I personally do not mind as I tend to ride multiple bikes with a rain gear.
I’m very happy with mine. Had two issues though. I cross threaded a screw in the last standoff which was pretty painful to fix. The other was working out where to run the wiring down the side of the bike which I found the instructions to be a little confusing.
Ouch, cross threaded screw is definitely painful, I hope this is resolved now, agree instruction made me nervous in some section. So I had to share my installation experience. Thanks for watching.

The tail tidy does indeed change the looks of the bike and yours is looking really good mate. Proper jealous right now!... 😅👍
Finally youre back Mate! I do prefer the shape of the Evotech bolt. But that tail tidy looks amazing compared to oem. Really shows off the rear tire and looks slick.
Apologies for not being around I hope all is good yourself, ok Evotech bolt that's 1-0, will change it for the majority. Agree the tail tidy does shows off that rear tyre.

agree it does get dirty in the rain, but the best part is weekly cleaning for me,

@@TheEarlster Yeah, I just saw that Trik's mudguard. They are based in England. Yeah, that would solve any water/mud issues during rain..

@@colinblance7271 Colin, I kind of figured that the water would splash up on the back without the rear guard. That's not cool :(
Looks 100% better ,good job thanks for sharing 👍🚀
Thanks mate, by far this is the best mod for the Rocket 3
Well well well Earlster. I see what you’ve been up to.
I’ve got to pop over to see this carnation in person
Looks fabulous
hahaha, you know me, anytime you're free mate

Just wait till you get in some really rainy weather, the reverse rooster tail will be splashing your back with water all the way home
not really concerned, I have been caught out a few time, but the best part is weekly cleaning which is some what satisfying for me,
Not my cup of tea, but each to their own.
Fair enough, and you're correct each to their own😏
Poor Brits, having to wear those kitchen tiles on their bikes..
lol, yeah it's big
Not good....sticks out far too much from the back....not for me.
It’s pretty standard for Europe plus with the parcel shelf installed it makes sense to extend this length, not for everyone but it’s perfect for me.
nah looks worse
