    Absolutely gorgeous bike. I own a Yamaha Stryker, which is the other 1300cc bike, and a Kawasaki Vulcan 1500, but I absolutely LOVE the Fury, too !!!!

    I had the Phantom as my starter bike. I upgraded to the Fury about 6 years ago. I did a few mods to it and I'm very happy with it. It is an awesome bike.

    Had a 2016 Fury. Took it to DC from Cincinnati for the Rolling Thunder gathering. The only thing that I didn't like about it was, the gas tank is just 3.3 gallon. Had to stop every 100 miles, while the others could have ridden another 75 to 100 miles.

      I easily get 175 miles per tank on my 2015 stock fury.

      @@Ddisco22 Jack isn't doing something right here, he's talking 25 mpg that's not even in the ball park for a Fury cruising range. Even short trip commuter riding I get 40 mpg which is better than 120 miles.

    My first bike is a Honda Shadow Spirit 750cc. I still have it. I'm trying to upgrade to a Honda Fury but it's so expensive getting one down here to Belize.
    Fuel economy is great for my Shadow (42 MPG). But I just love the Fury's chopper look. 🦅

    Nice colour. Love the Fury. I had one and think it was a better bike than my Super glide., smoother, bigger, better. Downsides are plastic covers and headlight which really let the bike down. Also the stock plastic air filter housing kicks your knee out in the wind.

    I have a 2019 Fury and I agree with him & I wish Honda would add a cruise control and replace the plastic chrome parts with metal ones.

    A very nice bike except for a small fuel tank. But I can stand this kind of course. Because it's so cool!!

    • @gatorunleashed275
      @gatorunleashed275 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Fuel range really isn't an issue. i've gone 175 miles before on my 2015 fury, it's over 3 gallons. That was a long, 55 mph ride but really not an issue unless compared to an all out touring bike.

    The thing i'd like to see is a DCT Fury like what they did with the Rebel 1100, a comfotable back seat for a fully grown passenger and a LED tail light for the 2023 model, perhaps. The rest looks fine for me.

    I have a 2023 fury ,love the bike , it handles great and flows threw the turns! I mis saddle bags , the bike is yellow so the after market bags has to be painted 880 for the bags and they paint it for 500 dollars! Hard decision to make! But live the bike! I am 76 years old rode motor cycle and sidecars ! Hope this will help !

    I’ve been watching some videos about Fury as well ‘cause I’ve been thinking of getting one, and other thing that some Fury owners have also expressed is the fact that Fury doesn’t have the fuel gauge indicator.

    I have a 2012 fury..nice custom paint job .I had a tuner on it and straight pipe .was way to loud ..use to pop..and tuner messed with idle..it dropped to low idle that is .so I removed put stock pipes back on ..now it was to quite so rather than pull out baffles I drilled a quarter size hole on pipes .sounds good now .only really dislike is fueling up every 150 miles..tank to small I kinda like only having 5 gears..I think 6 would give up the pull power on highway .overall best bike I've owned had many different bikes over the years .oh a vtx1800..cc would be nice 1300 a tad small .thanks for video

      If 6th gear was too high it would be easy to fix that. Just press on that little nob on the left with your foot. There. Fixed! This bike needs a sixth gear! I'm so annoyed at Honda. High 1st gear, and low 5th gear. Phewww!

  • @SternDrive
    @SternDrive 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Yup. I agree with everything he said. I have a 2010 Sabre 1300, and it is almost the same bike. The handle bars are a bit different, but I have to lean forward a bit too, but that maybe because I'm 5'4" more than anything else. And yup, I have the Cobra exhaust, and that changes everything. I was a bit annoyed that Honda refused to put a 6th gear in these bikes, but I bought it anyway. And sure enough, it revs away too high on the highway. This big engine does not have to rev this high going down the highway. What RPM is it running at? I have no idea. They in their wisdom refused to give us a Tachometer. It's so annoying, but I just know it runs too fast on the highway. Also if it had a 6 speed, they wouldn't need this ridiculously high first gear. To run at slow speed, you have to feather the clutch. Bad choice Honda! One other issue. I chose this bike (my fourth one) because I am short and need to be able to flat foot it, but the stubby little mirrors are so inadequate for me. I could not see if a truck was following me. No clue. So I got long stem mirrors, and finally I can see stuff following me. Oh, and I bought floor boards for my short legs. But despite the above issues, I love this bike. I think it is one of the most beautiful bikes out there if you like cruisers. So, I'm glad I bought it. Drive safe everybody!
