- Kaithola Paya Virichu is a very popular Malayalam folk song from Kerala, penned by Jithesh Kakkidippuram.
And this version of Kaithola is a tribute by Lagori and friends to the Kerala and Kodagu flood victims.
In an attempt to help the flood victims in a meaningful way, Lagori along with musicians from Kerala held a fund raising concert in Bangalore and managed to raise Rs. 3.5 lakhs for the rehabilitation of 2018 flood victims. Donations were given to two organisations Amba & Kodagu for tomorrow.
Over 500 people lost their lives and nearly a million more were evacuated and moved away from their homes and livelihood during the devastating floods.
As many in Kerala and Kodagu continue to rebuild their lives, this is Lagori's tribute to the spirit of humanity.

2018 New year, my friends and I spent in Varkala, Kerala and we transited from 2017 to 2018 singing "aaaaaaa eeeeeee ooooooo" and running across the beach.
The same year flood hit Kerala and we 4 did all our best to collect relief from Bangalore and our respective hometowns.
I don't know malayalam but when in unison you all sang "aaaaaaa eeeeeee ooooooo" my heart overfilled with joy and body with energy.
