Thanks to you for the reminder and the bottle you threw in the ocean. thanks to the algorithmic ocean to bringing this to me. If you don't mind I'd like to sample this for an album introduction, brilliant mate!

    What about this scenario:
I go on a run for 30 minutes after a yoga session and burn 700 calories.
After this, instead of going about my day as usual, I treat myself to a coca cola (139 calories) to help replenish the lost glycogen in my muscles (I have a 60 minute run to do tomorrow!) and as a reward for the good exercise session and to get me back on track with my work day. I won't treat myself with anything else and I'll stick to my diet plan for the rest of the day.
Was the coca cola bad? Should I not have had it and instead had some fruit when I was craving the coca cola?
This kind of scenario is confusing to me. Having the coca cola in this situation helps to solidify the good habits because I am properly rewarding myself afterwards with something I am craving and enjoy, and the sugar and caffeine it contains will help propel me to do more work and replenish myself after the exercise... Am I kidding myself?
It almost seems like the 'free dopamine' helps in this situation because I used it as a reward for hard work and I have the discipline to not drink it unless as an occasional reward for hard work and as a tool for replenishing glycogen and staying focused.

Yeah I think that’s okay but don’t ever lie to yourself cus it’s a slippery slope. And one day when ur reaching for the Coca Cola, a part of your brain will think of how much better you’ll feel and be if it was a freshly squeeezed orange juice with the same sugar levels. There comes a day usually where an occasions becomes a crutch. Watch out.
