Makati is a City, while BGC is a business district. BGC is more pedestrian friendly pero Makati City is much more accessible and commuter friendly. Also Makati City in general is much safer, and much more developed as a city, compared to where is BGC located
BGC is emerging new development while Makati is existing/ legacy emerging city.. Compare to numbers makati simply lead.. With its redevelopment and rules based implementation of building code provide access, easements and setbacks and open space in all building construction especially outside the CBDs. Accessibility is the more important in all develeopmnet with MOMA, Makati redevelopment converting existing and old building to a more reselient, smart and sustainable building with access to main transportation hub by elevated walkways and underpasses without using streets give an edge to other cities.

May I add that BGC has underground wires/cables for telecommunication & power. No spaghetti wires anywhere. Also, water in BGC is pre-filtered so it is drinkable from the tap.

Makati has overpasses and underpasses traversing from ayala mrt station along dela rosa passing inside common area of some building without using busy street.. If all of this commercial building will be interconnected it will be more accessible..

If BGC needs to expand, which area/s will it extend to? It is good for BGC for not allowing Jeepneys in 98% of its areas to traverse. Jeepneys in my opinion is the ugliest, the most uncomfortable especially for taller people, pollution-laden, hot , cramped, stinky, loud, and toxic means of transportation there is. It was created after WW2 (1945) and should be phased out in this modern times. This piece of crap ought to be GONE for good in 2024 which is almost 80 yr old invention that should no longer exist. It should be replaced by air-conditioned and closed vehicle that is safe for people and the environment.

If this idea and concepts will expand to cover all of Makati CBD with adequate smart and resilient infrastructure would be great. If the long awaited Makati subway sytem will be implemented even you residing and residential areas outside CBD will experience total convenient, you will no longer use your car and will not add to traffic.
