  • @hercdeleon

I must say I cringed and mildly shocked with your offers and that you successfully negotiate. I am Filipino and it is given that we haggle, but I couldn't haggle that low as we also think they need the margin to get their commissions. But as you said, they won't sell unless they still make profit and the amount that you managed to bring down the price, it shows how much margin they put on each product.
There are some amazing products and reasonable quality there. Best place to shop and you have shown that. Great video.

I'm planning to intromorus in the morning then head to Green hills in the afternoon and be back to my hotel near the airport before the evening to catch my flight at 11PM. Mahalo for your advice.

Hi, it’s definitely doable but don’t underestimate distances and traffic in Manila. Maybe spend 1.5 hours in each place? Well, I doubt she would have sold if she didn’t make a decent profit. I simply had no idea about the prices and the video shows some typical haggling at these markets. Personally, I prefer markets with price tags but this market definitely requires some haggling. Was fun though and I ended up spending quite a bit at the market 😊

They overcharge on the first place if your foreigner especially, why should a foreigner get charged more and sellers lie with the prices, if that’s the case then every shop in the world should have different prices for local and foreigners
