Binondo district (where Divisotia is)is where Chinese merchants settled even before the Spanish people came (settled right across the Pasig river named the walled city- Intramuros).
The Galleon trade commenced with products’ exchange of both east and western part of the world- Manila (Philippines) and Acapulpo (Mexico). The trade lasted in centuries and halted only when the Americans came.
The trading style in Divisoria is always Chinese style- cheap in retails and cheaper in bulk orders.

Things people in Divisoria have called out to you in this video:
“Hey Joe” a lot of older Filipinos call white guys Joe because of the American colonization (it comes from GI Joe)
“Pogi” means handsome. Someone was impressed by your looks 😊

Binondo & Divisoria are parts of old Manila. But do try to visit as well Our Modern Cities like BGC & Mckinley, Venice Grand Canal Mall & Makati - in these places you can find modern restaurant, most modern architectures, skycrapers and beautiful cityscape, almost all that you can find internationally like Japan, Singapore, U.S. and I should say even better and don't forget Mall of Asia considered as one of the biggest mall in Asia and in the World. We do have the most beautiful beaches as well that you can find here in the Philippines like in Boracay, El Nido Palawan , Siargao and just near Metro Manila you can go to Tagaytay and see Taal Volcano and in the Northern part you can check Vigan in Ilocos province, and Baguio City and rice terraces in the cordilleras. 👍

It's always fun in Filipino markets. I laughed when you said if you speak english or spanish, you can get around pretty easy. Then immediately ran into a non english speaking security guard. When in cities or meeting people with higher education yes, english will get you by. When in the province or dealing with less educated people don't expect them to understand you. I live in pangasinan and english is not very common.

the unique vehicle you saw was an "owner-type Jeep" it is the non-extended, original-seat configuration jeeps were labeled "owners", short for "owner-type" jeeps, and are used non-commercially. To distinguish it from those used as public transportation, the term "owner" is used. The original jeepneys were refurbished military Jeeps by Willys and Ford.

Hi Zane, people will take advantage anyway they can specially white foreigners, they spot money all over you. If anyone calling you Pogi means hi handsome that’s a sign of scammers they’ll say words that makes you excited and lose your focus. Stay focus stay safe and stay smart. No country that doesn’t have scammers. Be safe always , be street smart. Yes you are good looking and very white so don’t waste your money for expensive or too much of the price. ❤

Many good desserts in SUSIE’s Cuisine there. Good noodles too. The food is SOLID. U try to visit the province. People are so nice and rest assured that the foods and restos are clean. Many good buffet restaurants around. U can taste the real different local foods there.

You went inside 999 shopping mall where its an air-conditioned stalls are located, where you can buy products or items in retail or wholesale prices. I'm not really sure why you where ask not to vlog, when the entrance security guards let you in vlogging.😮
Divisoria is a market area where you can buy almost all products "anything under the sun" almost dirt cheap in price.

I stop watching ! I’m scared for you. Please walk with someone you know or trust . You can’t be walking alone ! Always look back as well once in a while. When I come home from state, this area is not on my bucket lists there’s 7000+ islands I can go.

Your diet is lacking in fruit, vegetable and fish. You need to get away from sugar drinks. Fresh fruit juice is far better.

I will report that canteen to the authority. They scammed you for a ridiculous price. And also they don't have any rights to restrict anyone from recording what they are experiencing. Because here in the Philippines, the customer is always right.
