    you might need to maintain it with bioled linnen seed oil every 5 to 10 years. It keeps the coal onto the wood and makes sure that the boards keeps the beautifull deep black otherwise they will turn brown over time. treatng them with oil prevents the wood from drying out and you dont dirty when you touch the boards. We have this cladding on our house and it it awesome. Thanks for posting this beautifull build

      It's a Black Engineering Brick (sometimes confusingly called "Blues") such as those available from Blockleys, Wienerberger, and Ibstock Bricks.
