CLIP DESCRIPTION:
As Stu (Ed Helms) and his wife (Rachel Harris) finally sit down to commiserate, they are distastefully interrupted when Phil (Bradley Cooper), Doug (Justin Bartha), and Alan(Zach Galifianakis) arrive to him up for their trip to Las Vegas.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
A blowout Las Vegas bachelor party turns into a race against time when three hung-over groomsmen awaken after a night of drunken debauchery to find that the groom has gone missing, and attempt to get him to the alter in time for his wedding. In 48 hours, Doug is scheduled to walk down the aisle, effectively ending his reign as a rowdy bachelor. Realizing that this is their last blowout with their best friend, Doug's groomsmen organize a Sin City bachelor bash he'll never forget. The next morning, the groomsmen come to in their Caesar's Palace suite to find a tiger in the bathroom and a six-month-old baby tucked away in the closet. Unfortunately, Doug is nowhere to be found. With no memory of the previous night's transgressions and precious little time to spare, the trio sets out in a hazy attempt to retrace their steps and discover exactly where things went wrong. Will they find Doug in time to get him to the wedding back in Los Angeles, or will his bride experience the sharp sting of disappointment when she walks down the aisle to discover that her future husband is nowhere to be found? The comedic timing of the car rolling up at just that moment is pure gold.
The comedic timing is great- and also the shot composition and cinematography. The friends enter the frame and literally come between the couple, as if to drive a wedge. They remain blurry and unfocused, and the couple is well lit, and in focus. Great shot.

I like how even though Phil has a tendency to be a bit abrasive and pushy, he was the one being a real friend to Stu by pointing out how horrible Melissa is. I loved the look of satisfaction on his face in the end when Stu finally tells her off, like he knew he had it in him, and it was just a matter of time

No one could have done as amazing of a job as Rachael Harris did in that role. Especially the argument at the wedding at the end. The fact that you hated her character so much meant that she seriously stuck the landing. 😎😎

I saw an interview from around the time the film came out and she said that people would recognize her but be afraid to talk to her because they thought she was going to respond exactly like the character.
I like how Melissa's actress is about to burst in laughter when she's smiling. But she still kept on character. When Phil starts shouting.
