    Whilst I think the endless necklace is lovely, for someone who is allergic to all metals it is nice to have a selection of Necklace styles. I know someone who can’t wear anything with metal. Now I’m very new at this and only do beaded necklaces, is there anything you can demonstrate making a beaded necklace using no metal ,ie crimps fasteners. I am not opposed to using anything other to beads, it’s just that I’ve never used anything else Thank you Maggie

    Thanks! I need to string a continuous 60” necklace with no clasp. This is perfect! I have Fireline from bead weaving classes in the past. I was worried about what cord to use. I didn’t want beading wire. I was afraid it wouldn’t be flexible enough.

    Fireline is both a Superior fishing line and a favorite beating thread. if anyone happens to have a sporting good store near them it is much cheaper to buy there fireline there then from an online beating store and you get more for cheaper.

    Thank you very much for your videos. You are very kind to share your knowledge with us.
    I would like to know, can I use this type of thread with crimp beads, tube ( using clasp).?

    • @TheONeilSisters
      @TheONeilSisters  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question Nelba! It is not recommended to use crimp beads on FireLine Beading Thread because it can cut into the thread. Instead we recommend Bead Stringing Wire. Here is a little video explaining it: runningwithsisters.com/bead-stringing-wire/
      Hope that helps!

    Thanks so much for this tutorial, I can't wait to make this! Just a suggestion, is there any way you could maybe do the tutorial on a white table surface because it's kind of hard to see the fireline thread. That might make it easier to see how to make the knots. Thanks so much!!! ❤️

    What length would I make necklace to wrap around with large beads. I enjoy all you videos.

    • @TheONeilSisters
      @TheONeilSisters  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      We made ours about 30" for the finished length. You can do the same with larger beads, you just won't need as many beads. But if you want it longer, try 36".

    I''m so confused about the knot! How do you bring the two knots together? Will you have two small knots on either side of the bead? And do you put a little glue on both knots? Thank you!

    • @TheONeilSisters
      @TheONeilSisters  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you end up with two small knots, one on each side of the bead. A little glue on each knot would be great for extra security.

    Your tying process made a easy project somewhat complicated. If I make it, I think I will just tie necklace off, use dot of glue and be done with it. There, simple. Your demo necklace was beautiful though. 😊

    Why use a double half hitch instead of a surgeon knot.

    • @TheONeilSisters
      @TheONeilSisters  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's the knot we learned for this. If you find a surgeon knot works, go for it. We'll look that one up!

    What is your opinion on using a glue gun?

    • @TheONeilSisters
      @TheONeilSisters  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      We love a glue gun, but we're not sure how well it would work for this project. It might be too globby. But you could try it! Maybe you can apply the glue with a toothpick to make it a little more precise.
