Is VCTA necessary or can we directly go for VCP ?

VMware offers VCTA (VMware Certified Technical Associate) certifications, which demonstrate your foundational knowledge of virtualization and vSphere concepts.
However, having a "VCTA is not a prerequisite" for taking the VCP (VMware Certified Professional) exam.
You can directly pursue the VCP certification, but to do so, "you must attend an authorized VMware training".
Once you complete the authorized training and pass the certification exam, you will receive your VCP certificate.
