They don't look fake to me. At least not on video. The speed duel cards all have that glossy finish that I personally dont like. As far as packaging, I've had the same concerns in the past on other sets, but pulled expensive cards and everyone I spoke to said the packaging on mine were normal. It's likely just quality issues with packaging.

Those look like same quality as the new GX academy box. Cheap quality. I think because they are no longer printed in Europe.
