Hi. Thanks for the informative video. I am in the market for a new stroller. I don’t mind spending if it’s a good quality stroller. Which stroller would you suggest? There will be no jogging etc and it will mostly in shopping malls or footpaths which are tar sealed roads. Looking for something ideally where the baby faces us if we want to.
Hi, given your conditions, I would recommend either the Bugaboo Fox or the Stokke Trailz, basing the decision primarily on size and weight. Trailz outperforms the Fox in terms of terrain and guarantee / customer service but it's a good deal larger and heavier, so you should check it out before buying it and see if it would work for you :)
The Stroller Workshop / Barnevognverksted Thank you. I saw one your videos on the Bugaboo fox comparison to the now discontinued Buffalo and your video description mentioned that Fox is quite inferior in terms of design and quality of parts. The Fox will not have any structural issues as such? What about the quality and reliability of latest Mountain Buggy Urban model or Uppababy Cruz? Shame that Bugaboo discontinued the Buffalo model.
Yeah, we love the Buffalo, so a lot of our videos are pretty critical of the Fox as a replacement model. That being said though, the Fox still stands pretty strong compared to similar strollers in the current market, if you think about it as a 4th version of the Bugaboo Cameleon, then it's quite good. The Uppababy Cruz is decent, but the wheels (especially the back wheels) are really small, and it lacks suspension, so I really don't even thnk of it as a full-size stroller, it's more in line with BabyJogger Mini GT or Vera, just with a larger seat. Uppababy Vista is good though as a single child stroller. Mountain Buggy used to be good, but not so much anymore. Besides, the seat is non-reversible (other than the tiny toddler-type seat), and if you're ok with non-reversible, then the BabyJogger City Elite is better.
