This video is all the fun exciting moments we got to share with Oakley during his first year. Huskies definitely show their attitudes everyday. We love you Oakley and this video is of all the fun things we got to do with Oaks, enjoy watching all his favorite things. This is full of videos and photos taken since we got him at 7 weeks till his 1st birthday, in order, enjoy watching our big boy grow.

I lost my Great Dane almost two years ago. Raising him into old age was one of the biggest blessings of my life. I could never have another Great Dane because I would never want to compare a dog. So, tonight I was beginning to think about what type of breed I would ever get if I got a dog. I saw one for sale and went online to research the breed. Then I saw this video and it melted my heart. You love your dog the way I loved mine and your dog has as beautiful and happy a life as mine did and your dog is so sweet and it was just beautiful to be introduced to this breed by your video. I wish y'all many wonderful years filled with all the more happiness. Thanks for helping me to see that my heart strings could be pulled again.
Sound like your Great Dane was a very special dog. This is my very first Husky and he’s as special as I thought. He is very spoiled and my everything. Thank you for the very kind words. A dog gives such special kind of love, Huskies are a stubborn breed but very smart and loyal. But they do require a lot of work and effort, mostly a lot of exercise or outdoor time, which I’m fine with cause he’s my world, my best friend and I love bringing him every where I go. Best of luck and hope you can open your heart up to the next dog and have many unforgettable years together.

IMHO, all huskies are the most beautiful dogs but Oakley is unbelievably gorgeous dog! Not sure how how she is doing these days...I watched the Oakley film back in 2020 after that I watched a few more times.

Hi, I’m Nick and I really want one husky puppy so bad, but when I search for them online it shows the price like arms & legs. Any suggestions on what can I do to achieve this puppy in not most expensive way?
Hi Nick my recommendation for you is try to find local rescues in your area you might not be able to get a purebred husky or a puppy but usually rescues have cheaper dogs rather than breeders.
Also..if you choose the puppy route. Please please please dont get one from a backyard breeder that doesn't care about the breed and the puppies. Please go to a responsible breeder

It seems that you trained him to walk off-leash, so many husky owners are afraid they will run away if they off-leash them but if you train them right from an early age they would not get too far away and always return on command. He is a Beauty !!!!!
Thanks so much! he was better when he was younger about being off leash but I think it’s hard to train huskies off leash since they are prone to taking off but if they’re taught at a young age I think they can be off leash.

my husky is 2 months in 5 days and he is really big and cute he is peaceful and likes to sleep sometimes he bites just because he is small and he is a bit uncomfy since his teeth are growing

I got a one month old husky and he’s so hard to potty train he’s taken all my energy 😂
They're supposed to be with mom for 10 weeks... 2-3 months. Do you mean a 3-4 month old ? Mine was 3-4 mo. When i got him. Mine trained in two long days. He would take a 10 min nap every hour and had to potty when he woke up. In the first 2 days we practiced maybe 40 times. Use a feeding schedule, use white vinegar on old spots so they don't go back to it. You have to catch them in the act and holler excitedly and run them outside...praise alot when they pee outside... never spank.....

I have a 7 week piebald Siberian husky. Teaching him to sit right now Also he’s very intelligent when using the potty outside and training pads. He’s very active . The only thing is their teeth are sharp as hell.
Puppy teeth were the worst! Something I definitely won’t forget they are crazy sharp my only recommendation is finding things he can chew on and keep himself entertained with once he loses his baby teeth the biting and sharp teeth goes away!
Oakley The Husky I bought a tug a rope that he loves to bite on. Any other suggestions for toys. I know plush toys are out of the question
Yeah most huskies are pretty destructive of stuffed animals weirdly Oakley’s always been gentle with them and doesn’t tear out the stuffing but toys I’d recommend are lots of ropes those are by far Oakley’s favorite to play with. Other toys he likes are anything that squeaks, those hog latex toys he likes, kongs, balls, I like the barkbox brand of dog toys, you could also look into healthy alternatives to rawhide boys to keep your new puppy entertained.

Leave him for college, with pep you think you trust for a boyfriend, money, adventure because he would never do it to you he's given his life to you forever, they will grieve for you till he reunites. Remember this forever. So go to some local college and put boyfriens last, and short trips... He is you World and your Angel from God that how i treat my Husky Shadow.

Already made a collage of my Siberian husky (Captain) and its already got like 50 pictures and he is only 2 months, your husky looks like a fun, funny and energetic dog.
Make sure to keep taking lots of pictures of Captain they grow so fast! Oakley’s my world. He keeps us busy. Year 2 and still taking tons of pictures!

My dog died 4 days ago beacause of eating rat poison and I haven’t been sleeping lately beacause ive been crying so much and it really affected me a lot but I’ve been thinking and I’ve been wanting a husky for my entire life and I think if I get a husky it would probably help me get distracted from the pain I’m going through. So yea I just thought it would be nice to share this have a great day :)

Bison The Husky they are smart dogs. Yes you should train them while they are young . I have a 7 week husky and teaching him to sit . I’m ready to teach him more once he masters that. One at a time

I am 13 and I really want a husky. I know many of you think that I'm not going to be able to take care of one, as it is a BIG responsibility. However, I have been wanting one for a long time. Huskies need to go on many walks a day and I understand. I have a large field across my home, which would be really good for the dog. I understand the training part, where these dogs aren't the easiest to train
I know they shed ALOT and you must be prepared to clean all of it. My parents are not sure if we should have a dog because they don't think i can handle it. I know I am only 13, and these dogs can grow very large, but I have done lots of research on huskies and know their traits and how they act.
You sound so responsible for a 13 year old by the sound of it, it really has sounded like your have done a lot of research on the breed which a lot of people tend to not do. Huskies are a handful and require a lot of training my parents tell me all the time it’s like I have a toddler. Growing up I always wanted a husky and I had to wait till I was 20 to finally get Oakley. You could try to follow along with some of the suggestions on this website: www.akc.org/expert-advice/lifestyle/how-to-convince-your-parents-to-get-a-dog/ hopefully some of these tips are helpful towards you getting your puppy and if you have more questions feel free to ask huskies are such a fun dog but they do require a lot of time in a day to take care of best of luck to you!
