- Hey guys & girls. Just wanted to post some of my favorite race clips from this awesome series. Dom is a beast, strong, wise and the leader but Brian is very tenacious, confident and probably the better racer of the two though it is real close. Rest in peace to late Paul Walker. It won't be the same with him. Enjoy everybody.

The final race of the first one is still the most iconic racing scene. The charger with the front end in the air and the supra taking off. Such a legendary race to end the movie on.

My favorite races are: the 1/4 mile in the fast and the furious, the race in Rio with Brian, Rom, Dom and Han. But my favorite of all is the one at the end of Furious 7. Although it's not technically a race, i still count it as if it was one. A race that i would've really liked to see is: Sean Boswell and Dom!

It's not an automatic transmission. It's called a sequential Manual. The gears are in a line so shifting is done using an up and down/back and forth movement of the shifter. So she's actually shifting 1st, 2nd and so on, just not in a standard H pattern.
redmr2na nope that car has no sequential paddle shift. Take a close look at the gear box if it sequential auto the label could've been a straight line from up to down but it has zigzag line which is parking, nuetral, reverse and drive. It's all show and fast n furious is always full of shit.
@@voodoodiecast it is a zig zag yes but I've seen mud trucks with similar shifters. Its zigzag because it sits in each notch. The notch is so it has a better chance of staying in gear. A person could easily install a straight up and down b&m style shifter.
@@voodoodiecast not all sequentials work with paddle shifters, there's like 4 different types of sequential gearboxes with different applications and most of them are manual.

I agree. Everyone has their own opinions and preferences,but Istill look up that first race often and rarely any others. We All know it's just a movie and the circumstances Dom had to win,but I often wondered how different things would have been if Brian had won. Hilarious how the tires squealed with a nitrous shot at 140mph lol! Still,Best race ever!

The London race with the huge ass spoiler was super hot in the movie, everything about the intro and ending to that scene was hot. Glad they kept that kind of scene in basically every FF after - emphasized sexually charged race/plot meetup, with sexy girls and all sorts of flash. Like the one in Dubai with the gold girls.
