Chastity (Chaz) looks a bit "thuh heck?" at the beginning of the scene then they nailed their part of the song and it was like they just blossomed. So many comedians in this scene had great careers. i know i am commenting on this post ALOT IM sorry just noticing little things now i like where they about to sing joy to the world and Cher look back for sonny is cute cause she is use to sonny sitting next to her and i love how sonny looks at cher to make sure she singing and to make sure his singing the right words i have notice in alot of skits or songs that sonny and Cher does Sonny sometimes sings the wrong lyrics or get them mix up but his such a good sports about it like his notice but keep going i think there was one song his was singing with cher idk the name of it but i google the song lyrics so i could learn the song myself and they was a couple words his mess up i was but i remember Cher doing a commentary thing on the dvd verison of sonny and cher comedy hour and she say in the commentary " here we are singing Sonny hates doing the opening where we had to sing cause his dont like read the words and learning the sing so before we go out his would ask me what song are we doing and quickly learn is that why his mess up alot in the songs because his forget the words but his favoutire are doing the skits cause his get to make up his own words and stufff
The deleted skit was "Indian and Bear looking for snow" where Willaim Conrad plays Old Man Winter holding out snow for the highest bidder. Probably cut out because it isn't PC these days which is funny because Cher was one of the big celebrities of that era who expressed pride in her AmerIndian heritage.
Paul Shaffer said during "Late Show With David Letterman" druing the holiday episodes that Cher's version of "O Holy Night" was his favorite at the 21:43 mark!!!! Paul did that when he mentions William Conrad & Teri Garr among others!!
i just finish watching my the sonny and cher ulitmate collection i love the first to dvd which had season 1 and two on it you could tell how inlove they were will Sonny anyways like Cher onces say that Sonny was there for her and always protect her and fight for her one time someone try and flirt with Cher i think they were at a bar or something and even though the guys were like 5,9 and Sonny only 5,5 his stood in front of them and told them to back off my wife and they leave and Cher say that was in 1972 when they marriage was slowly falling apart even though they were fghting his was still there for his wife. but like i was saying i just finish watching their show and you could tell how inlove sonny still was with Cher i know at that time Cher was over it and don't really love him back anymore but u could see those two seasons they were in love than i watch season 4 and 5 i dont like it that much like the connect and chemistry was still there but u could tell by Sonny that his was over it cause Cher say she ask sonny to come back to the show and his agree but at that time they needed each other and i saw without the show like skits and stuff how much Sonny dont want to do it anymore which is sad and they no i got you babe at the end of that show

I was 14 when this show aired. The Sonny and Cher show was my favorite show to watch. I wish tv would go back to this kind of entertainment.
