this would actually be great as part of an NPC kit for larps or hvz. i had an idea for a mission type where 20 or so people would be split into smaller groups and scattered around a campus as survivors that the players needed to rescue. they'd be armed with loaner basic blasters and loose ammo and be told to stay in one area and fend off zombie attacks (slower in frequency as they would be watched by moderators so they would survive longer for mission's sake) until either they all got bitten or got saved. these would make perfect primaries for those survivors as they dont even need magazines to run, just a few boxes of half lengths and these rifles and theyre set. btw, the outcome of that mission would either be more humans to help in missions or every human that got turned from those groups would be a super zombie for the rest of the game
What a lovely little kit. Takes these sad, super common blasters (I've found several at thrift stores) into something worth using. The pump action finally has a use on this poor single barrel blaster. I hope they come out with something for its double-barreled sibling for a nice break-and-pump-action shotgun.
inline clips: my favourite kinda mod for salvagers alike. Still making them with PVCs and PTEG tubes since ever(yeah,im a lil' bit ol' skool.)Simple and very reliable as long as the blaster have enough "ummph" in compression and air volume,it's good.
I believe the moving stock is supposed to act as a "safety". If you hold the stock back or not in the soldered position then you will see that it won't fire.
Yeah, it was meant to simulate recoil, it is operated by the trigger pull. The X-Shot Kickback has it too. It's a fun gimmick that makes the blaster fun to mess around with even without darts. Adds some oomph to the shots, real and pretend.
Made a double barrel using copper pipe and a reducer works perfectly One of my favorite blasters also threw on rainbows dart holder which is perfect 20 darts on the side ready for reload
Blast it captain Xavier its sold out!!! My dollar general carries this blaster and an inline clip would make it an excellent primary for a mandalorian build
Its functionality a foam.blasted Hawkeye inline kit, i think i just made the stock and sling bits. And the offset rail for mega dart stringer / proud papa attachments The other kit is my work tying into the sillyshell line
Come to think of something: is it possible to modify a paint marker to dispence resin, as in have a clear resin fill in the lines of 3d printing so if 3d printed plastic rubs against itself it won't give that typical sound that you hear when 3d printed plastic rubs 3d printed plastic(it's basicly my nail on a chalkboard thing😳)
That seems like the perfect thing to do with those blasters. An excessively long barrel just begs for an in-line kit of some kind
Or a SCAR barrel insert?
These really are the perfect blasters for an inline kit that I never thought of. I think I have a couple of these blasters sitting around,

The vigilante! That's the one. I'm tempted to see if I could make this fit... A PROJECT WORTH TRYING!

no sadly was marketed as a "recoil simulating stock". A safety would make too much sense

@@penjaminthestrange4427 ooooh, good idea! That would be very fitting!
In-line clips are fun. Bangarang!
I removed the air restrictor and made the stock solid. It fires around 90FPS. Single shot still.
This is really cool, it makes me wonder why a manufacturer hasn't made a retail inline clip blaster
My guess is the inconsistency if you don't remember to point the blaster down when priming.
I assume this kit would work with the 90-something other cheap X-shot blasters that are just resehelks/recolors of this one?
Probably?

@@builderbb8767 thanks for mentioning my friend 😊

I always wanted to know how to do this…… except I no longer own a hawkeye
Good kit but......I'm interested in that knife you were using. Got some info on that?
It was given to me by CYardNerf years ago. That is all I know.

Really good kit,by the way BigShock TimETraveller kit is also fun as well❤
@@capho-n7j thank you 😊
Took a while untill my kit found some interest 😅
Its true
$30 is a lot for a few pieces of PLA, particularly when spent on a questionable blaster.
FIPS!!
What's up with that box cutter? Can't find one like it anywhere
Nor sre you likely to. It was a custom-made gift from CYardNerf.
Is this kit still available? The link isnt working forme. Thanks
@@jodygussey6031 then probably not. You can always try reaching out to the designer.
