Jim my son Ethan is 8 and he loves your videos. He is high functioning autistic and we live in Las Vegas. He has ridden many of the strip elevators and loves glass elevators and the higher floor videos. Please keep up the great content and if you can shout him out I am sure he would love that.
Tinkerbell School Well, you can get some on eBay like I got my Dover Traditional button. Maybe you can email Schindler, ThyssenKrupp, KONE, Otis, PTL, Innovation, CJ Anderson, Adams, EPCO, ERM Dewherst and GAL and get some elevator parts/buttons. I got my stop switch and a KONE hat from my good friend Randy (Who works for KONE).
Awesome Jim! I have seen other tours of the amazing ElevaTOURS elevator museum, but none I saw went as far as you did into looking at and interacting with every fixture there. Great video Jim!
If you want to see the GE meatball building elevators I may or may not be able to get in and give some footage. GE is right in downtown Schenectady. I even think the bus stops there.
I like the DEVE buttons best. They came from Sweden. The caption is in Swedish. "HISS för högst 630 kg toallast eller högst 8 personer" means "ELEVATOR for up to 630 kg freight or up to 8 persons", "NED" means "DOWN", "UPP" means "UP", "DÖRR" means "DOOR" and "NÖDSÄNK" means "EMERGENCY LEVELING".
Did the square touch sensitive fixture call station come from the blue elevators highland hospital. The blue elevators at highland hospital were modernized by Otis series m2
JimLiElevators, the fixture was a square touch sensitive buttons old Otis fixture that looks like the call station from the blue elevators @ Highland hospital.
Hey diesel Dulce. I have a technical question on elevators. On the ones that used a DC generator AKA motor generator. What is the output voltage of that generator? and about how much current does it produce at Max? If you or eney one knows leave a comment thanks.
They usually come from elevator modernization sites, purchasing them online, and stuff. These parts are usually given from elevator companies who are no longer using them.
From beyond this point, please no asking for any elevator parts. I will not be giving away any elevator parts. No exceptions! Thanks.
JimLiElevators ok I won’t ask
Why did you say no asking for parts
Why no elevator parts

I will cry
