Thank you so much for doing a part 3. My scrambled brain is slow to pick up on the repeats - obviously need more caffeine. You are so encouraging and so beautifully clear in your instructions which is not always the case in some videos! Stay well

This is incredible! I just learned to crochet and I’ve been able to follow you perfectly well. I can’t believe I’m making something this elaborate and pretty, thank you so much for being such an excellent teacher!

Bless your heart ❤️ I must admit that I spent more time frogging whole rows because I ran into my mistake from the row below. Grrrrrrr‼️ This was a difficult pattern for me. I can’t even get through a virus pattern shawl. But…YOU are the best teacher! I had to slow you down 50% and then I wasn’t frogging as much as I wasn’t trying to keep up with you .
    You’re the greatest Craig ❣️❣️❣️ stay safe….🥰🥰

I have enjoyed crocheting along during the videos. I struggle with anxiety and depression and crocheting has been my therapy. This pattern is one of the golden ones, as I call them, because it is simple yet requires a level of concentration that keeps my mind focused. Thank you for doing this tutorial, it’s turning out wonderfully. I’m thinking gifts as I crochet.

It's been about 10 years since I've crocheted a single stitch. But I chose this project, and I get non-stop compliments while I'm crocheting. I'm slower than molasses, but thanks to you, it's coming out beautifully. ❤

Thank you SO MUCH for being so thorough. I happened on your videos of this pattern by chance and was ‘seduced’ by its beauty. Halfway through the second video I started predicting what your next stitches were going to be. Your thoroughness really pays off in understanding the pattern and learning the rhythm of it. Several years ago my life turned into total chaos and I found myself alone having to take care of my child and sorting through an ungodly mess. Turning to lace projects was one way to safeguard my sanity and still being able to gift my loved ones beautiful things. Learning new patterns became a way to find order in chaos: a new pattern always seems chaos in the beginning and then you start to understand it, find comfort in its repeats and predictability, peace in its beauty. It still forces you to focus on it which provides relief from things outside your power.
Having hit a new set of personal challenges I was getting anxious as I am finishing an Estonian lace knitting project and I was looking for a new project. I know how to crochet but never did a lace crochet shawl. Binge watching this project I know: time to retire my knitting needles for the duration of making this shawl.
I’ll be making a few swatches in various gauges to see which yarn I’m going to use and I’m planning on watching the entire series before I start.
    THANK YOU!

Craig, I'm a big fan of your work. I love what you teach us. God has given you great talent, and you're an EXCEPTIONAL teacher. Thank you so much for all that you do. I picked up some Wonderland Yarn Blossoms. It's expensive, but worth every cent. I'm currently using your cloister shell pattern. I wish I could show you a photo of what I'm working on, because I did a slight edit your pattern and I REALLY think you'd like the look of it. It makes a very cool design and looks like it's a reversible shawl with two different looks.
