Hello, i want to ask, what to do if my front door is sagging? How should i do it since there are no bolts that hold the hinges?

You would need to try lifting the door and seeing where the play is. Possibly the door pin is needing replaced.

Could you give some advice on the best way to refit the pins as i am having trouble thanks

Tap the pins in before you fit the door just tap them in a little bit. Hold the door in place using a jack and a bit of wood under it as it needs to be perfectly lined up. Tap them in with a hammer as much as you can then use a punch if necessary. Two people would probably make it a lot easier as well

Was the upper pin in place before you started knock it out? Or it already slipped out a few cm? I recognized in my car, that the pin is in the same position, like in the video. But i had no time to check this is how it should be or it moved away.

Yeh that's how they were, all I did before the video was remove the rubber covers. They go in opposite ways to each other as well so the extended part goes down from the top pin and up from the bottom.

Quick question bud. I need to change 4 doors over from my donor car over to mine, are the rear doors the same process?
You make it look so easy 🤣

What donor car did you get? Yeh same way with knocking out the pins. The electrics just pull the blue locking clips out with pliers and it disconnects

@@Street_Fitter another astra 5dr in my colour but fully specced out with rare heated leather seats, door cards, leccy rear windows and mirrors etc. Already swapped 2 doors over now just need to do the other side now lol and then swap my speakers over.

@@zhoaibraja2992 take it that's an Elegance model with the wooden veneer trim on the dash and centre console? Have you tried the rear electric window function? I wasn't sure if the loom would be there for them, I know the wiring isn't there for electric mirrors on mine. Can prob wire in the heated seats and switch panel easy enough from the donor car. Don't forget to do the rear disc conversion as well what a difference that makes! I always wanted to retro fit cruise control but just seemed like a massive headache unfortunately.

@@Street_Fitter its actually an 03 plate 1.8 SRi but I think one of the previous owners retrofitted all the goodies from a CDX/Elegance.
I haven't fitted the drivers side doors yet.. I'm gonna fit all the doors.. plug them in.. fit all the fuses and relays over from the other car and fingers crossed it all works from the get go.. If not.. gonna have to swap the interior looms which will be a ballache and a half.
Donor Car also has cruise control which I wanna retrofit into my 1.7CDTi and also got a Rare Omega variable speed wiper stalk and relay which I needa splice in and fit too 😅
Also gonna swap over the heated seat loom since I have it and maybe try retrofit some heated seat pads inside my half leather GSI Recaro Seats.
U on Facebook? I'll show u my build if ya want 😁🔥

@@Street_Fitter cruise control aint too hard to fit apparently. It's a matter of fitting the clutch switch and then some wiring needs doing from the stalk into fusebox and into the ECU. I'm not exactly too clued up as I'm gonna get someone else to do it all for me haha 😅
