Nice little trip with a good variety, even a ferry ride!. Did you figure out the little bird yet? The streak under the eye has me stumped otherwise I was initially thinking something like a ruby-crowned kinglet or gnat catcher. There aren't too many small birds of that coloring with the white eye ring.
I couldn’t get down to the beach, they had closed it off as it was like quicksand as they had had extremely high tides as of late. Plus my plans had to change and I only got one day down there, but I’ll be down there soon again, and hopefully get that sunrise shoot I have wanted for Sao long!
Just come across your channel Haydn, was going to mention Roe buck but I see a previous commenter has informed you of that also looks like Black Redstart on the unidentified footage. Just subscribed. 👍
Thanks Glen, Think you could be right with the bird. It's been doing my nut in not knowing. Thanks for taking the time to comment, and i appreciate you subscribing.
Thanks man, didn’t give it much thought as he was in with the female sika, and now I see difference in the antler growth formation too. Every day is a learning day!👍
RSPB Arne is such a fantastic place, got my first Sika deer images there also the Spoonbills last year when they arrived.. Nice little video Haydn 👍

Can’t beat a ferry ride for that sense of adventure!😂
No, still not 100% what bird it is, but their can’t be many options like you said!👍
The Sika deer were beautiful Haydn. I’ll have to research where they are here in Scotland. Great video!
Thanks Stephen, They really are one of the best, and the male Bucks look like smaller Red's when they get their antlers.
I saw quite a few near Tayvallich, Argylle and Bute a few years ago when I filmed some beavers up there
Lovely part of the country, i’ve marked it on my map for next year!👍
Did you shoot exclusively from RSPB hides (which open at 09:30) or did you get down to the beach near Shipstall Hill for sun-rise etc..

The male in your video clip is a roe buck the sika would not be in velvet this time of year but great vlog
