    Ang sarap naman po ng mga pagkain nyo... I just did my first backpacking trip and ate dehydrated foods. I'll try the munggo next time. :D

      Yes, we tried dehydrated food for awhile kaso lang hindi talaga fullfilling pagdating sa campsite.

      @@FirstHandExploreTrue! Btw, I didn't see how you stored your foods and scented items. Are there any bear lockers in all campsites? Or did you need to hang them in some campsites?

      @FirstHandExplore  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@iknowbinary We hang our food on a tree. There are no bears on the island. Worst case are racoons or horses stealing your food.

      Hi Alaina. It was a pleasure meeting you and your hubby and talking about your experience at amicalola inn. Also we followed your shoreline trail towards Dungeness instead of going back to the forest. Hope to bump in to you guys again someday.

    Is your wife a filipino? I heard her say something earlier that it sounds like cebuano language. Or are you both Filipinos? Btw, thanks for sharing your adventure. I will be in Cumberland island this weekend. I just wished i could camp there next time.

      @@FirstHandExplore Awww nice to met you kababayan! Did you have to walked 10 miles to get to the campsite? Oh no i don’t think i can walked that far 😂

      @@Queen_Nefertari. Nice to meet you also.Yes we did hike the 10miles. There are nearby campsites if Brickhill bluff campsite is too far for you. I think Sea camp and Stafford beach campgrounds are nice. They have both big oak trees around them.

    How many nights did you camp? We are planning night one HH ,then next night BrickerBluff ; 3rd at Stanford beach. Do you think that is a good plan?

    • @FirstHandExplore
      @FirstHandExplore  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Burke Dental ToothTeam. We only camped for two nights the reason we hiked 10 miles to Brickhill bluff and 5miles the next day to Hickory Hill so it would be closer to the dock on the 3rd day. Your plan seems good enough to spend more time and enjoy the beach. Enjoy. Thank you for watching.

    Can you camp anywhere if you say get lost or if you don't like where your camped can you camp wherever since everyone is pretty much gone after 5? Or will you get in trouble by park rangers?

    • @FirstHandExplore
      @FirstHandExplore  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @LauraRose83. By right you should stay at your reserved campsite. I don’t think they will allow you to camp anywhere as there are designated campsites. But if you think you can’t really make it to your booked campsite and find a nearby available campsite you should take it and just explain honestly to the rangers if they ask you. I don’t think it’s a crime.
