  • In this video, I demonstrate how to evaluate a composition of trigonometric functions. I show a wide range of examples, from easy to hard difficulty. The goal of this two part series is to help students get more comfortable with evaluating these kind of expressions. I hope this helps!

This is a great video. So far your the first person who has explained this in a way that makes sense to me.

When he said: "Pictures are the key to a lot of these.... I highly recommend it, I do not do any of these examples without drawing a picture" all of us visual learners felt that.
Because every teacher I watched previous to this one just assumed I remembered everything about the unit circle, so their videos just felt like they were living me behind when doing their work.

In your arccos(cos(-pi/5)) I used that cosine is an even function. cos(-x)=cos(x).

Honestly you lost me at the -2pi/5 . I get that it's negative but as for the actual fraction, how did you get that? I get that pi also equals 5pi/5, but, how did you get the answer 2pi/5, was it going to the right a few notches? I'm not sure :(
