Thanks for the video, helpful! Would be interested in learning more about your LED indicator-bulbs in the rear and front. Plug and play or did you have to add canbus-resistors etc.?
Hi M J, thank you for comment and support. The LED indicator bulbs inside front and rear clusters do need to add a capacitor or CANBUS adaptor to prevent rapid flashing. My personal choice are Philips or JW Speakers LED bulbs. Cheers.
Hi there. I knew the early models mirrors are similar, please stay tune as I have to find the old service manual and have a look. Will reply soon. Cheers.
Hi mate, I bought them from aliexpress. Here is the link: www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003700039192.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.0.0.3c601802fH2Kma . Hope that helps.
First of all thank you very much for this! It's just what I was looking for. One question, do you think is really needed to remove the mirror to un-clip the cover? Or maybe the cover could be removed with some plastic tools? I would like to install this in my outlander but looks complicated with fragile parts that could be broken. Thanks in advance!
It is easier to remove the mirror to get access to all clips for mirror cover. All the clips are hidden behind the mirror. There is no way you can jam a trim removal tool on those covers. One of the pups at Outlander group already tried and did not work. Thank you very much for your comment and support. Happy new year.
Thanks for the honest video. Great job

All you had to do was use the panel tool and pop the outside cover right off please don’t do it this way
