    Great to see a man being honest. I would detest neighbouring counties, like Oisin alluded to, but once an Ulster team progresses to the national stage, I would be as vociferous in my support as I am when Tyrone are playing.

      As a donegal man I had huge respect for Tyrone and armagh especially Tyrone 05 win . Likewise for derry and down in the 90s

      Kerry forwards were naïve running into trouble and
      Kerry created more scoring opportunities.
      So I don't know how Tyrone were more offensive?
      But I was talking about Kerry Football as a whole.
      It's to outscore your opponent.

    I was 9 years of age at that game as a Armagh fanatic. Until this day I still cant watch footage of Canavan scoring that point. I stop the video before it happens. I can only imagine how Oisin felt as a player. I loved that team so much!

      Ye i felt they should have won at least one of those games against tyrone they certainly under achieved as a team and were unlucky and could have won another 1 or 2 all Irelands

      @@magaolinewood9268 well im from Galway we had a good team that was there for a while and won 2 all Ireland's the same time as that Armagh team any what im saying is they were unlucky in 003 when Philly Jordan got the armagh player sent off and went down holding his face when he literally did nothing typical tyrone they always do that And in 005 should have given ye time and not sure if that goal was a penalty id have to look back and maybe even against Meath in 1999

      @@mikeloughlin6888 wrong Donegal, Tyrone, Cavan and Monaghan have won in the last 5/6 years a lot more winners than in the other provinces! Plus with Armagh and Derry on the rise it’s even more competitive! Mayo, Dublin and Kerry steam roll the other 3 provinces nearly every year!

    Tyrone only bothered to try and win All Ireland’s after Armagh in 2002, just to spite them. Two was close to one, so they made it three for good measure. Cheers fellas!

    Oisin, hatred is a very extreme unbecoming sentiment to be expressing for what is after all only an amateur sport. Honestly, I don't why this conversation is taking place so soon after Tyrone's so unexpected victory over Kerry.

    i was at all them games and my god there was no love lost on the armagh fans.we lost a ulster final to armagh and getting them back in the semi final was the sweetest of all the victorys tyrone .i remember we all sang there will be no sam mcguire in armagh and you can stick ur ulster title ur ass.yeh what great days

      @@thomaskphillips2582 well in in 2003 the game Was awful but most of tyrone scores were from frees And it was 4 Armagh 8 tyrone they got more in the second half and when they started to come back in that second half after a few minutes Philly Jordan got the Armagh player sent off when he ran into him and the Armagh guy put his hands out to defend himself when he was running in on him like any1 would And tyrone player dives clutching his face claiming to be punched gets him sent off so if he wasn't sent off they might have won very poor refereeing in my opinion so i dont know where your get this from

    It may have been sickening but it was poetic justice, for Armagh undeservedly winning Ulster, with the help of the referee. Canavan and Stephen O'Neill sent off for nothng. Paul McGrane the boxing champ.

      I agree in that your correct but in 2003 Phillip Jordan did a horrible dive getting the Armagh foward sent off for doing nothing and that cost Armagh the game would you agree or

      @@ciaranfahy4689 I would agree what Jordan did is ugly and should have no place in our games. A sending off certainly makes a huge difference. Sometimes though it spurs the 14 a side team to victory.

      I like him but he’s riding the whole addiction backstory all the way. Nice money if you can get it. One of the best ever forwards to play the game, the threat he posed was like few others. A real ruthless operator that had to be seen at club matches to be believed.

      Funny, Arsenal and United both expressed similar sentiments at the height of their rivalry in soccer. I would imagine the hatred is a combination of fear and jealousy.
      But again, this is effectively modern tribalism. The GAA is not a cult as much as a collective of tribes. Which is why teams like St. Johns and Rossa in Belfast "hate" each other.
      Its not real hatred, its GAA hatred, tribal hatred.
