Tbh I think that sponsorships work better in FD than any other motorsport. The parts used on almost every car are out there and available for you to buy., and other series such as F1 or Nascar have virtually no connection with the actual products. Since most people who are really into FD are drifters themselves, they want the best parts for their own drift cars as well. This means that when Odi or James Deane kills it on a set of Feal Coilovers that are available for purchase you may be persuaded to go out and buy them so your car can handle similarly to theirs. Now I imagine your talking about Gumout, in which case I have no clue XD.
