I may be the oldest person in the theater next week (first watched True Blood at 60) but this man is just about the sexiest man alive, not only for his body but it's his sweetness, humor, kind & intense eyes, and that voice ......man oh man everything he does & says! Love Norse mythology & stuff like GoT!
I agree! So sexy. Even when he played the devil in “The Stand”.
*Grandma!!!*
I’m still haunted by his portrayal of Pennywise in It. Stay safe and healthy to all.
@@frankyu4967 that’s Bill
@@frankyu4967 *Sarcasm?*
He seems like such a warm, funny human being. I can see why Stephen genuinely likes him. 😘
I completely totally agree, he does seem a warm, funny, charming human being! 💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
Alexander is such a treat! He's funny, kind, and very generous of himself. I haven't seen The Northman yet, but I bet it'll be great. Alexander fits the part for sure!
For being so incredibly handsome Alexander seems kind, funny, and humble. Not at all impressed with himself. Which only adds to his appeal 100 fold
He speaks about that in an earlier Colbert interview. How, because he's Swedish, he can't be self-congratulatory. It's a really endearing interview!
“It smelled like death and feces…horses guys horses.” This guy is sharp.
@Alexander Skarsgård Is this your real account?
He’s so sharp, and the audience so dull and the host so soft, how dare u make a movie without soft weak men! Forget it has great strong women as well!
As a Swede I loved how everyone pronounced the r sound like we do.
Skarsgårds, the voice of "Beth Harmon", Icelandic strong men, Björk, Willem Dafoe...
I loved this movie.
swede's pronounce their r's so sexy bro sounds cool af
@@craigory8123 I guess you're right. 😅
@@craigory8123 Thank you ;)
They’re so silly together, love it 😊
Alexander should do more comedies, he’s hilarious 😂
What about it Tall boi buddy comedy with Adam Driver?! They have not done ANYTHING near each other yet.
He should! He was funny in War on Everyone.. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love these two together! We need an in-depth LONG extended interview/special with him!
@Eli Hardy removing your spam. You waste time leave ppl alone.
I would love to see that with him, his brothers and also their father Stellan. Plus a movie or series with them all in it.
He seems like a big goofy hunk of hummina. ❤️
Alexander is so charming and funny that he’s one of Stephen’s best guests in a long time. His sex appeal is a whole other story. What a talented family, including, of course, his dad Stelan. His work in Good Will Hunting and HBO’s miniseries Chernobyl and Breaking The Waves and Dune were stellar
I love your typo, 'quests' instead of 'guests' ...
Is u a bot
@@SuperiFox definitely lol. much of that filmography belongs to Stellan Skarsgard, it's just a bot farming likes
I had the pleasure of hanging out with him a handful of times, usually down to earth parties at his house. 1st of all- he’s SO much more gorgeous in person (I’m not a star struck fan, this is simply an objective fact). His personality & light is extremely beautiful & authentic. Just seems like a genuinely good guy. It’s a rare thing.
@@josefchan5465 I genuinely don’t understand the “why” of it all, what is the point in farming likes on a comment?
His brother Gustaf is also a tremendous Viking.
Gustav's Floki is one of my favorite characters in all of ever. Floki always spoke like Alexander-Lost-His-Voice punctuated by giggles but nobody laughed at him - it could be deeply unsettling and downright terrifying yet so endearing at the same time. The famous boatmaker who couldn't swim 🤣🤣
Wow! That clip is impressive!!! That Skarsgard family has amazing talent!
I LOVE THIS ACTOR!!! I can’t speak to him as a regular person, but everything he’s in is fantastic!

I love the casual volcanic eruption happening in the background of that clip. Because Iceland.

'The Northman' is just incredible. If you can see it in the cinema, do so!
100% Just enjoy it
Incredible film
Did and it was amazing!
Watched this yesterday was so awesome! Love Norse mythology. Alexander was great can’t imagine anyone else playing Amleth. Rob Eggers did great.
I love this whole acting family! I also love how in the clip, there's an erupting volcano in the background and they just keep avenging the father.
Your Alexander is in Love with Every Woman
When Alexander come to the show it's just different. Their chemistry is so natural and genuine. Definitely a strong bromance established. A whole show with just him as as guest talking about so many things, like life, movies, Hollywood, random stuff etc.
Can tell Steven really loves Alexander 💕👍
Alex is so charming, and humorous...
Alexander Skarsgard did an incredible job in this masterpiece of a film. He carries himself differently depending on what the character is supposed to be. This movie felt like a religious experience and made me super happy to not be alive in the early 900s AD
This movie was a religious experience for me too, well said. Easily the most the most impactful cinema experience I've ever had. It's truly a masterpiece. The sound design is mind blowingly immersive, and the cinematography is as good as any cinematography in any movie ever. It's seriously that well made. Plus spine chillingly good acting and an epic story. No element of this movie is anything less than superb.
The only thing is that the sheer brutality, unfiltered-ness, and animalistic elements will naturally turn certain types of people off. And understandably so. But all it's doing is depicting how things really were at that time which is just unimaginelly brutal and violent.
I get such Hugh Jackman vibes from him, it's like the same kind of giant hunk of a specimen but you get sense you'd wanna have a beer with them and they'd insist to pay for it.
Love this man in everything I've seen him in. He was the only good thing about the remake of The Stand. Amazingly talented family. Loved Dad in Chernobyl and younger brother Bill in It too.
Saw the movie yesterday and it is freaking brilliant in every way!! Felt like i was watching Gladiator in a viking setting.
Stephen to Alexander: “You’re wet a lot in this movie”
Me: [buys all the tickets]
nordic men...
Me watching this movie: "Me too, Stephen. Me too."
Oh yes even if you arent with the Plot.

LOL!!! Yas girl lol!!!
Hello beautiful
One of 2022s best movies so far. Skarsgård is brilliant in this.
Alexander is the complete package. 😍😍😍😍
Gotta love the Skarsgards.
He's so lovely and delightful 🥰🥰
What a genuinely nice guy Alexander is...!
That surprised me as well. I expected him to slaughter his way through the studio audience. 😈😈😈
I loved "The Northman", it's such an authentic, vile, brutal and immersive revenge tale. The imagery is beautiful with gorgeous landscapes and jaw dropping massive movie sets. It's not a movie for everyone though, it's not straight forward, it's a movie with deep symbolic undertones that carries the story forward, and if you miss out on those, you can be in for a hard bargain. But if you love Eggers previous work, well this movie is a must. One thing I was disappointed by though, in the very beginning of the movie they start with the text "North Atlantic" when they are in Norway, i have no clue why, because Russia and Iceland and so on are correctly mentioned, but Norway becomes "North Atlantic". That was a bummer. But, well.. Movie is awesome, and Skarsgård is a BEAST, this actually might be the origin story of Technoviking 😆
If you like it, you may also like "Valhalla Rising" with Mads Mikkelsen (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valhalla_Rising_(film))
@@mhand00 Yes, i did. Saw it many many years ago, maybe time to see it again :)
Oh yes! I see definite similarities to Techno Viking here! 🤣🤣🤣
Seriously though, there's nothing I wouldn't give to see Alexander Skarsgård dance-marching down the street to some hard techno in a thong.
I love his sense of humour.
Your Alexander Skarsgard is a scammer
Hi 🎂
Love his Dad in Good Will Hunting
Ah yes. The bloody history between the barbarian thong of the Skarsgard North vs the gladiatorial thong of Russell Crowe's Rome.
A timeless classic with real balls.
Read today that the story of Amleth (a real historic person) in the Northmen and his avenging of his father was a historic Norse story that Shakespeare used as the basis for his tragic play Hamlet.
When i see/hear (Alexander Skarsgård), i directly hear all the ("Ray Person" & Brad moments ) from the series "Generation Kill". that was MAGIC! 😂😂😂
Must see Colbert’s Swedish girl skit asap❣️✌️💚
Love the fact that he doesn't even have to draw out his sword to fight!
Plus it's said to be a magical sword that can only be drawn at night, and he's saving it for his uncle
He is so beautiful 😍 🥰
This man is everything...
That clip brings to mind the surreal Viking dark action flick "Valhalla Rising" starring Mads Mikkelsen. Very trippy and gory, which I was really into back then. :))
He’s hysterical 🤣
He'd be an awesome Sabertooth whenever the MCU reintroduces him.
That is bold, which I would have never thought of, but you might have an excellent idea.
And his father is already in the MCU so it's not totally impossible.
Ain't no such thing as a bum Skarsgard in my books. They always deliver with warmth and humanity, unless it's antithetical to what the script calls for. Offscreen, they seem delightful. lol
I always love when the group attacks one at a time so he can take them out one by one rather than all rushing at the same time.
They did attack two at a time in the beginning though. Plus, these are weak viking men he's fighting. They don't actually know how to fight
Your Alexander Skarsgard is in Love with Every Woman
His disdain of Bob was brilliant.
I love Alexander Skarsgard
Why did no one mention that the story of Amleth avenging his father was the inspiration of Shakespeare's Hamlet?
He did in the first segment
He was great in Generation Kill
Agreed! He was also great in True blood, where he played a Viking turned vampire, and no one can convince me that this isn't a prequel.
@@dan7564 : oh, good one 👍 totally

I first saw him in his Gaga video, and have followed him since. He was devastating in Big Little Lies . Definitely played against character.

I love all the Skarsgard lol 😂
he's such an exemplary urbane and civilized man-- making Carlson's ludicrous panic over testosterone look as silly as it is! Manhood is NOT a matter of hormones and brutality and I can think of few things as unmanly as "testicle tanning" out of insecurity.
Um. Testicle tanning? Wth is that?
@@seanraines5871 tucker Carlson did a video and in it, they discussed red light tanning to improve testerone.
It seems artifical and designed to target older men who probably miss their youth. You can increase testerone by diet and exercise like the lord intended
@@lordd007 I'm 47 and haven't lost testosterone yet. I don't think I need any more. I doubt I'd tan my testicles though
Can we get all the Skarsgard's on here???🥴❤️

The Northman is a gift. Great film.
He is awesome
Curiously, the word "berserk" comes from the old norse word for "bear shirt". This comes from a legend about warriors who wore bearskin shirts in battle and went violently insane :)
Love the movie alot! been a while since I watch goood movie
Perfection!!
He definitely got some gear as a souvenir too
Auction it and take my money 😍🤣

Yes this man can do serious roles, but @Alexander Skarsgård is incredibly funny too!
Been following his career since True Blood. He makes interesting choices. Also, doesn't friggin AGE at all!! May be he is a vampire!! LOL
Also, I agree with the comment below, he is quite funny. He has an oddball sense of humor. Its too bad he hasn't gotten more comedy opportunities, cuz he's up for ANYTHING. I remember one timke there was a rumor going around about them doing an episode of True Blood as a musical and he was like " I am SO THERE" if they did it.
Alex just gets better and better, better looking, funnier, sweeter, and all around beautiful. But I would have taken the Icelandic ponies!
When I see him on screen I automatically revert to Generation Kill, one of my favorite shows about the Iraqi invasion. The transition of the state of mind is dead on.
