An excellent series, Craig! So many great releases came out in 1982. I remember buying Berlin's 'Pleasure Victim' when I was 15 and how it blew me away. The Metro! I saw Psychedelic Furs with Ride a few years back here in CT. Looking forward to 1983! 😎🎶
Own about half of these, bought when they came out or soon thereafter, The Human League, Talk Talk, Peter Gabriel, The Cure, Duran Duran, Yazoo. My favorite probably the Peter Gabriel record.
TalkTalk such a great band that so many missed out on. I saw TalkTalk open up for Berlin at the Greek theater in southern California. I was 12 years old and just getting into music hard-core really great concert by both. Also, the first Berlin album was definitely their best. I couldn’t stand take my breath away and was very disappointed that they put that under their name. Especially considering only Terri sang on it. No one else in Berlin played on it. But I’m sure you know all this.
in 1982 MCA released "Synapse Gap {Mundo Total}" by Joe "King" Carrasco & The Crowns. This release has a single, "Don't Let A Woman {Make A Fool Out Of You}" featuring harmony vocals by Michael Jackson. I think you might enjoy. I have owned it since it came out because I try to get everything Joe "King" Carrasco releases. I enjoy your videos, both here and with the guncles.
I hope I'm not going too overboard with the comments, but this was a great list. I personally like The Motels album, All Four One. A friend gave me a copy and I've listened to it so many times already.

A lot of great records! I agree, you don't hear much talk about Midnight Oil. And they have many great albums on both sides of Diesel and Dust.
Missing Persons (my first concert!) I think they met through Zappa
Joe Garage features some members, they recorded some Missing Persons tracks at Frank Zappa’s studio
@@marshallmann that what it was!
ABC! Yaz! Duran! Great stuff...just catching up! And Prince of course...❤
Talk Talk 🔥
I still got my og Gabriel, Clash & Duran Duran 🥰
Missing Persons, that albums is real good. That Berlin albums is really good too.
The Peter Gabriel and Clash albums are awesome!

I have the UK & US Upstairs at Eric’s as well as the half speed master.
Out of your top ten, have all of them except Midnight Oil & Duran Duran
@@moogie242x if you haven’t heard that midnight oil album you should definitely check it out.
Where's Marshall Crenshaw's debut lp?
@@eugenewilliams-ly2rj I don’t own it!
