- I FINALLY RECEIVED THE WIDEBODY FENDERS for the Mini and in this video, I show you how I cut up my fenders to allow me to install the wide body fender flares.

These wide body fenders allow me to run more wheel in my wheel wells. Up front gives me an extra 25mm’s and in the rear, I get an extra 30mm’s. I’m looking into a set of different 4x100 wheels that have a low offet, so I won’t need to run spacers. I’m currently looking into a set of 17x8.5+20 wheels square, which will be perfect for my 255/40 Toyo R888R’s

Before you cut any sheet metal/fender, you should mount the tire on the wheel and mount it on the car and put a floor jack under the A-Arm to raise the front wheel up as far as it will go to see if it will interfere/rub on the stock fender arch. If not, then you do NOT have to cut any metal away.

Jacque Andres (The Mini that was on Leno) taught me that if you only spacer the front that car tracks better around corners. He was right and I removed my rear spacers. Or if the rear is less then the front it’s incremental.

Where is the widebody at? These are just wheel flares. What a let down, I was really hoping to see a fat booty mini.

Hi there. Where did you look at gettng the rest of the body kit from? Further to this do you have a name for the wheels that you're putting on? Cheers.
The chassis saver paint may be good but it would work better and had better adheasion if you had used a scotch pad to rough the surface of the paint to give it a better key. But good work.

Hey so question! I’m trying to get my flares, and I had ordered with keepitaesthetic, but they hadn’t got back to me about wait time expectancy or anything after placing my order. I started doing research into them and saw lots of negative reviews (orders not being filled, refunds never returned, no communication, lots of false promises etc) my question is what was your experience with them? Because I really want these flares but I’m thinking I’m gonna get mine from Vad design.
I'm a bigger fan of the bolt on wide body kit that Liberty Walk makes. The holes on the side of the car looks cool.
You are amazing, could really use your help. Can I economically add something like this verse paying for new fender flares for a 2014 mini cooper clubman? Not a S version. if I run a 16x8 et 20 wheel with 215/45 tires on it on my 2011 r56 will I need fender flares?
Your front bumper seems like its sagging a little bit, maybe that;s why flare doesn't line up at the bottom?

I swapped to slightly wider tires just to found tramming unbearable, I can not imagine this effect on super wide tires, how it went for you?

it's a lot wider than the mk3 jcw fender flares, check em out :), but 255 on a mini you want to race, i dont' know. doesn't matter, keep doing your thing, i like.
Milan my dude. How much power u looking at? Have u heard of the srr mini cooper.. fully forged engine.. u reckon its worth it for 15k euro or cheaper to do the work urself and be able to make more power?? Check out the srr mini cooper let me know what u reckon.. and how much u have spent. Hopefully u get back to me b4 i pull the trigger on the srr race set up

Are you going to tune it at all milan ? My cooper s is putting out 210 bhp so i think you could easily beat that with the JCW

You might have to go with forged internals depending on how much boost you want to push through it though milan but sounds sick man !

Rims with a lot of offset require fender flares so you can pass the inspection and rims with more offset do make a "widebody" car since you are increasing the width between the two parallel wheels.

Flares have a gap because you are supposed to cut so the gap of the bumper and hood goes through, its what ive seen other do

You should plastidip the body kit and widebody fenders black and leave the rest the stock color.

Considering I already have fender flares on the car from the manufacturer, and these are wider than the stock ones, I'd call them wide body fender flares

I love the idea what what you are trying to do!! But these are just flares and not a widebody.. also why not just get a set of wheels with the correct offset and back spacing so you don't run a wheel spacer? Don't get me wrong I love the car I used to have a 06 supercharger cooper S.. it was lowered Alta exhaust intake and smaller pullies!! And remapped Ecu.. it is a great car.. I just hate the fact these aren't real widebody kit and you can find wheels that won't have to run spacers
I have a tall order for the wheels for the car. Here is the criteria.
1. Wide enough for fat tire
2. Large enough to clear 330mm Big Brake Kit
3. Low enough offset to not run spacers
4. And the worst part, 4x100
Finding wheels that can do all of that is very difficult to find. I can find some that will do 2 or 3 criteria, but all 4 is very hard.

should have used a fender roller. they are available at eastwood. No cutting.
