- Join Liz and me on an end-of-the-season excursion to Lake George, NY, on Labor Day Weekend 2023. We make a complete circle from the Fort William Henry Hotel and Conference Center to Million Dollar Beach and back up to Canada Street and then back to the hotel on a beautiful late-summer day.

Lake George is almost always really busy in the summer. Although they have activities throughout the year, the other three seasons are much quieter. Thanks so much for watching!

I use to work there back in 1969.
At that time I was just ready to enter my senior year of high school in Greenwich, NY, and loved to visit Lake George so our paths may well have crossed!
What is "end of season"? October is the beginning of Fall Foliage time.
Labor Day Weekend is generally considered the end of the high season although it is true that the fall foliage season is beautiful there. For many people, it's their favorite time to visit Lake George, Lake Placid, etc. It's quieter but still offers plenty of things to see and do! Thanks for watching!
