Sales have been sporadic for us the month of April. A lot of watching but more than ridiculous offers. We saw more traffic on Etsy which was surprising & now we have more people watching our store. We are sourcing smarter. Increasing our inventory. Improved our photos. We also know our stores are still small in comparison to most TH-cam resellers. Quick question: you have mentioned a few Facebook groups that help to identify pottery & glass. Would you kindly share this information.
Do you think Mr Pish Posh could do a video about putting in a new watch battery? I have a few watches listed that need new ones but I don't want to spend $20 per watch at the battery store for them to replace them. Thanks 😊
I’ll check. I know he went to a battery place and one guy replaced them cheaply but when he went back another guy charged more - so I don’t know how many he did himself
I was selling OK for 2 month on eBay until I got this email from eBay indicated I was not correct in calculating my shipping. I am going back and rechecking everything I have listed but since then I have not sold anything. Not sure the two things are connected but I did order a new scale (mentioned by Ms Pish Posh) and will be more careful with my listings
Can you share how you determine using promotions on Ebay? I have 2% on most, but don't know if it helps. Is there a certain percentage you have noticed makes a difference?
I honestly play around with it just a little. At first I just did 2% but then i heard so many other people saying that's what they did so I bumped it to 2.5% lol. When sales are super slow, I've gone up to 5%. It's kinda painful but then I remember Posh is 20% so as long as the ebay fees plus promotion stays around that or less...it works I guess.

I have a Panasonic digital camcorder new in box that I have had for a few weeks because I'm not sure about testing it or if I should leave it in it's new condition and sell it untested. Do you do local pick up sales on ebay? I currently have it on a few items but out of the 3 sales I have made, 2 of them don't live in my state. I'm thinking it's not worth the hassle because I have to cancel the sales then refund them.
Sales are not what they used to be. And way to many returns. People don't read the sizes and measurements and say video cameras don't work that where in working order when sent out. Me and my husband have been having to use money out of our savings to pay our rent and bills. Feels like we are cursed no matter how much work we put into it.
It turns out now that the video camera that was in perfect working order that my husband sent out. now the costumer returned a different one that reeks of cigarettes and is in bad shape. What do you do with that? I hate that criminals can get away with this.
I'll ask the Mr but I know he doesn't test with film or anything...he just makes sure the battery compartments are clean and puts in fresh batteries to see if they power up, etc...

I sell good without it. I just lower the price...same difference in profit.
