great video! i have found the closer my fingers are to the keys, the easier it is to play; especially when it comes to speed

Absolutely! not to mention that fingers kept closer to the keys produce much less percussive tone.

Hi Wojciech, I was just wondering if you could help me out with my practice with Gnomenreigen by Lizst. When the A major theme starts, my fingers get muddled up when it modulates to B flat major soon after. Could you upload a video helping that could help with this? Or answer with a text.
    Thanks

Dear OnRi, a video will be the easiest way to help you. Would you mind describing a little further what is the exact problem? Is it just a particular bar, bars or a passage, or the entire semiquaver section? Do you feel the issue is with clarity, keeping the tempo, evenness of tone, or articulation?

      Hi again Wojciech
Thanks for replying. The entire first semiquaver section is fine but the next semiquaver section in b flat major has some issues.
      1. I keep playing the fingering for the first semiquaver section instead of the separate fingering for the 2nd section.
      2. My arms hurt a whole lot after practicing this passage. Could you suggest a way to relax my arm pls.
      This is all for now
      Thanks

I have recorded a video in response to your question. I will post the link here in the next few days when I get a chance to edit it.

Here it is:) th-cam.com/video/nN8hQUqa2k4/w-d-xo.html - I hope it helps. It is difficult to guess what might be the exact problem without seeing you perform the particular sections of the piece, but I hope you find some of my suggestions useful.
