I know I’m really late on this. The man doesn’t deserve to have his name mentioned but yes they caught the assassin almost immediately. James Earl Ray was the scum of the Earth responsible for the death of one of the most influential civil rights leader in the history of our great nation.

The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated on April 4, 1968. I applaud and salute you both for your courage & decision to openly share your perceptions and sentiments as to the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.. and as to this particular speech for which is undoubtedly, profoundly moving.

Dr. King was a man who existed in another plane above all us mere mortals. Dr. King, I’m my mind, is a martyr and a saint. I believe he is a mystic who met God. And God showed him the Promised Land. He had nothing to fear. Dr. King was trying to tell us we could live together and care for one another. Earlier in his speech he pontificated about the Good Samaritan who stops to help the poor stranger on the road to Jericho. It is beautiful.

Even though America still has a lot of work to do in in regards to race, but I really think Martin Luther King would’ve have been happy to know that we had a Black president for two terms

It is the duty of any decent white parent to teach their children properly, just like this. Much respect!!
If I remember correctly, James Earl Ray killed MLK.

The MJ song? Where he sings “kick me, K-ke me, Jew me sue me “? Antisemitic child molester.
