Read at your own risk!*** Hii Sydney! 💗 I just finished reading Once Upon a Broken Heart and The Ballad of Never After back to back and THE CHEMISTRY AND TENSION BETWEEN JACKS AND EVANGELINE IS CHEFS KISS 💋🥵 All of their interactions throughout the ballad of never after were amazinggg!!! I love the scene at Slaughterwood Castle where he sees Evangeline in her dress looking at herself in the mirror and he says: “is that what you do when I’m not around😏?” And the whole dialogue that follows OMG-🤩🤩 also love the character development of Jacks soo much! Another scene I adored between the two of them was when they arrive at Slaughterwood Jacks says he could make the servants cut out their own tongues because they were speaking badly about Evangeline🥰😍 If anything, I didn’t love the first book as much, but Ballad was great! I just think the ending is quite sad and confusing and umm now I don’t know what to expect from the third book…🤨 There are still many lingering questions but like- What will happen to Evangeline now that Apollo made her forget everything???? ALSO another hugeee thing no one talks about for some reason was that there was Petra, ANOTHER KEY?? Like, this was lowkey (no pun intended) probably one of my favorite parts of the book plot-wise, when Evangeline kills Petra??? And why was it not referenced more? I thought this was so interesting and I would love for Stephanie to explore that in the third book. I also really want to see Donatella or someone from Caraval. Anyways, loved your video!😘
