I changed my west gate actuator, new delta sensor too. But when I disconnected the delta sensor, there is no black smoke. Once connected there come black smoke. Please , any thoughts?

I have a 2020 Freightliner Cascadia with a DD15 engine auto trans with 676000 mile 13000 engine hours.I do lot of repairs myself but lately I have noticed that the engine fan is always on from the moment i start my truck in the morning to the end of the day. This truck is equipped with a viscous electric fan with no air suplies to it.I checked all the plugs and sensors they are all in place. I took it to my regular mechanic and my local Freightliner dealer and they couldn't detect the cause or any problems.I Even replaced the fan clutch myself but still the problem accured. There are no codes on my dashboard .but the engine light keep comming on , it gave me on my scanner a message ( SPN 0 /FMI = 0 Data valid but above normal operation al range -most sever level). Should I check or replace the ECM computer? What do you suggest?
Hey man love your videos. I coukd be wrong here. I was told if you have coolant in your air tank or when your truck purges, that coukd be a symptom of an egr coolant leak, assuming your compressor is good. Ty

Question... so I’ve changed the water pump and the egr cooler on my 2016 DD15, but the coolant leak I have is coming from passenger side line above the egr cooler/ line closest to the firewall. I have a photo if you need it? Can you tell me what that part is so I can order and replace it? Thanks BTW, the coolant leaking out from that aluminum line drips down that side of the block and hits the ground behind the oil pan at the clutch housing. Thanks 🙏
Those are your egr lines that run to block of the engine over time. Heat can put wear and tear on them and they can become crack or broken and leak all your coolant out.
Hello sir. I just had issues with coolant pipe line on 2015 freightliner , which I already changed. But my engine not sound right. Its sound like leaking exhaust pipe or bad turbo. Would you tell what's factor will make your engine sound little off the right sound
2012 dd15 deleted dpf but egr leaking. Do I even need egr anymore now that its deleted? Can you let me know if I can remove it and eliminate my coolant leak. I took off that pipe like you showed and theres a plug in the rubber hose so I am believing it is not functional anyway.
If there is no visible leak outside, it could be due to many factors like bad injector cups, coolant leaking into oil, egr cooler gone bad etc. Does the engine show any symptoms while running if the egr cooler has gone bad?
I am having the same issue. Pressure tested, checked EGR from both sides, changed injector cups and no visible leaks. I was told that is going to be the head gasket. Good luck

I have a 2016 dd15. I see bubbles forming in surge tank (coolant tank) while the engine is on. What could possibly be the issue? Is it normal to see bubbles?

Now its working fine again. do you think it could be because I need to replace the EGR cooler ? I have notice some coolant missing. Also I change the EGR actuator last month but it didn't fix it.

Can you do this without draining coolant
What you removed was the cold pipe. You might not see anything there in the early stages. The proper check is at the hot side.

I think this might be issue cause I can’t find any leaks,but after the truck sits the coolant eventually drains out

you got combustion gases escaping into the coolant system that usually indicate a head gasket.
