You have options but not many. You can pick "west" until you find a star you can see. I typically pick Vega, Mizar, Arcturus, and Spica. I have a lot of trees in my yard. Probably 50% cover.
+Manav i understand what you mean and i wont image unless i have less that 1 arcminute PA. However, the polar scope is really meant for rough polar alignment and it is no Takahashi or RAPAS, i have aligned my reticle to the point where i get 3 arcminutes with just the polar scope. I use the King drift method and it takes 10 minutes tops to be at 10 arcseconds. a point to remember is that is you model your mount, you can be out by as much as 30 arcminutes and will still be fine, this is especially true with direct drive mount. Let me know if this is confusing and i'll develop better.

Does anyone know which stars the gemini 2 picks? I have a limited views in my backyard :/

do you have to choose west? I have limited viewing to the west.
You can Polar assist all on the East if needed.
How does the accuracy of this procedure compare to the Losmandy Polar Scope and a traditional 5-minute drift alignment?
+Kurious George it gets you very close, i have the polar scope and it can get you within 10 arcminutes if i remember correctly.
+Hamza Khelifi Touhami - 10 arc minutes wont be good enough for imaging maybe a good way to initially align before trying something like alignmaster
