    Just found this video. I love the 93 LT1 pcms. With the Moates autoprom you can tune in real-time. Makes tuning much easier. Using a 93 LT1/M29 combo in my 84 Firebird.

    Great advice in here for beginners like me. Just bought an Ostrich 2.0 for my 88 Callaway Corvette and have never tuned before. The O2 trick will be the first thing I try this weekend. Data logged with TP RT and my BLM's were pinged at 160 and a really stinky idle. Hopping I can solve that with the Ostrich and TunerPro.

    Thank you so much for making this video man. I am new to tuning, haven’t got my feet wet yet so to speak. I learned a lot from your video. I have a couple questions: 1- how do you know what your air fuel ratio is, how do I find it? 2- When changing cell values for VE or spark is it possible to highlight the whole table and make changes all at once? Or does not every cell need changed? 3- when changing the VE table what values are too rich and too lean? 4- last question, when changing spark if I wanted to bump up the timing how would I go about that? cell by cell one at a time until spark knock and then retard it by 2 degrees until it stops? Thank you very much sir. I hope to hear from you.

    • @Noeysuarez
      @Noeysuarez  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey sorry I'm just now getting back to you, to know your AFR you'll have to have a wideband o2 sensor installed in your car, you can definitely highlight the whole table to make changes, the answer to your 3rd question is, anything above 15 AFR is lean, and assuming your car is naturally aspirated, anything below 12 is too rich. Just highlight the cells that you want to change the timing on, I'm assuming you're wanting to do the WOT add until you see knock and then back it up like you said 2 to 4 degrees.

    Going to watch your first video after this one but how should I get started on this one:
    I'm swapping a t56 into an 94 impala SS.
    1. Get the bin from the PCM via eehack or find a stock bin for the car
    2. Edit the bin for the t56 settings
    3. Load it up again into the PCM
    LOL does those series of steps sound right to you? I'd like to get another PCM but not sure if a different vin number will mess things up if I connect it to the car.

    • @Noeysuarez
      @Noeysuarez  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can edit your existing file to make it a t56, but if you don't know what all you have to change then yes, you'll need a stock t56 file, you can always change the VIN number to yours on any computer
