  • Tsunami Trail, Deer Valley UT is the crown jewel trail for jump lines at Deer Valley. In fact, I would go so far as to say that there really isn't a better jump line flow trail that I've ever ridden. I still need to try out some other bike parks and riding areas in the vicinity, but I'm pretty sure that this will be one of the better ones. Two years ago I rode Tsunami and you had to pedal super hard to clear everything, now we are overshooting things left and right. I'm not sure if this was related to the wind or if there were fewer braking bumps or maybe gravity is stronger now... But you have to grab brake or you'll end up going OTB like you can see Ran, Chey (and me) all pushed it, especially Chey.

      @@RideLabs it's probably more on the smart side, I'm still too scared to do them but I guess that's what peer pressure at Draper bike park does🤷‍♂️

      uh... yea, problem solved (I put a knot in it), now but this day I didn't realize it... Yea, man I know when you have young children it's super hard to break away for something like this.

    I'm still working on clearing tidal wave but I'm super excited to try tsunami one day!
    Question for people who have rode it, how does the first section compare to the largest jumps on tidal wave?

    • @RideLabs
      @RideLabs  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Um... it throws you up and out a bit more for sure. But they are tables, not gaps, so casing isn't really a problem. I was thinking about it and I think if you rode tidal and then also Levitate a lot, that would help prep you for Tsunami.

    Is the lift up to this run open or did you have to bike up to it?

    • @RideLabs
      @RideLabs  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Deer valley. Lift access. $55/day. Definitely worth it.

      RideLabs Thanks. I wasn’t sure because someone told me that the lifts weren’t open due to Corona.
