    I sent you the bike kit just in case you get a flat or it sucks to be stranded in the woods. Specially for your own bike fits under the back of the seat. Enjoy love the vids

    As a skier/MTBer clipless pedals are second nature. I’vw never not been able to detach when needing to. And i love being able to pull up on the pedal. Given them a shot if you want to stop slipping off your pedals

      @LucasCatania17  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      i definitely want to try them! its obviously one of those 50/50 topics it seems. some people love flats and others love clipless!

    Yooo Lucas, if you are having trouble with pedals it is totally normal to bring your own pedals to the demo shop and have them put them on the bike for you. (Anyone who rides clipless pedals does this when demo’ing)
    Also new bikes don’t come with pedals and I’m assuming you will be purchasing one soon so there’s no harm in investing in a good set of pedals now as you can just transfer them over to your new bike.
    Sick video as always I’m hoping to move out to salt lake before this upcoming ski season so maybe I’ll run into you sometime

    • @LucasCatania17
      @LucasCatania17  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    A bigger bike for travel is definitely going to be worth it as you’ll have a more all around bike for anything especially if you travel and bike at other resorts or whatever kinda like you do skiing at some point!! I would definitely recommend to stay on the “bigger” bikes now when demoing to find the geometry that best suits you and what you like!! Canyon bikes are AMAZING, but stick to what you’ve ridden and what you like!!

    • @LucasCatania17

    Great video Lucas; It's been awesome seeing your progession! Bike wise, a couple cool mullet options to check out are the Transiton Patrol, YT Capra, and Canyon Torque. That stumpjumper evo can also be setup as a mullet I believe.

    Definitely a cool shot with the ‘unicorn cam’ lol. Regarding your feet, unless you’re planning on going clipless when you buy a bike, buy a pair of good mtb shoes. Makes a big difference. I like Adidas Five Ten Pro’s. Very grippy :)

    • @LucasCatania17
      @LucasCatania17  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@LucasCatania17 the pros seem to fit my foot better and the sole definitely feels more grippy than original 5/10’s. What elbow/forearm pads were you wearing? Thinking of going clipless and I see falls in my future lol!!

    You should go out to South America next season for skiing if possible. Some resorts got 15ft of snow with more in the forecast.

    If you are just gonna do bike park stuff, maybe you should get a downhill bike 🤷‍♂️
    Although there are lots of other cool trails/trips that would make for some fun vids if you do go enduro.

    People are very polite on that trail..

    • @darinsmith2458
      @darinsmith2458 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I am going to say this and you will probably do it later in the video but I think once you get comfortable with the harder line you might be able to lift your front wheel and it might be a smoother landing...

    • @darinsmith2458
      @darinsmith2458 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      My teeth were chattering when you took the skidder.. Have you ever thought about wearing a mouthguard?
      I think by having a larger front wheel that does change the geometry so that you are more back on the bike.. Again, I heard good things about Specialized.. Are you able to put different sized wheels on that bike? I know your best time was on the downhill bike.. I imagine that having more suspension travel and having the larger front wheel than the back make it a downhill bike? Is there a way to get a bike that has more suspension and then maybe being able to swap out the front wheel with a larger and smaller one to see how much that changes the geometry?
