When crimson Glow was charged up, it's damage output seemed to be significantly higher. Keeping that in mind, I guess we can't really blame it for constantly trying to charge up, but I think that that was the ultimately the cause of crimson glow's decrease in damage output and furious being able to catch up. Ignoring crimson glow's attempts at charging up, which really infuriated me, the battle was exceptionally thrilling and spectacular. Kudos to both mons for putting on such a show.
Me and all the Valstrax fans were so tense in the last few moments, I was yelling at the screen when Valstrax tried to charge up instead of dealing damage near the end. But tbh, this was one of the closest matches, and I was hyped throughout the whole fight
Quite the brutal fight! Crimson Glow Valstrax is a real beast of an opponent in Rise/Sunbreak. Furious Rajang's no slouch either, but he doesn't quite compare to his heights back in Iceborne.

He's harder here than in iceborne, in iceborne i killed him in my try. Granted i still killed him on my first try in sunbreak, but here i at least fainted once, and im not even a good player. However you put it, i think people over hype rajang.
This was the closest fight I’ve seen in a while, these two monsters dealing massive amounts of damage to each other yet in the end the Rajang got killed! 😅 This shows there are a lot of truly powerful monsters in Rise, the fight potential is just fantastic please keep up the fantastic work 😃
Furious put up a good fight here. For the most part, he kept the pressure on Crimson Glow to keep it from using it’s more powerful attacks but alas, the latter made use of its abilities and took the monke down. Great fight and I look forward to what comes next.
it also seemed like his ground electricity attack (where he puts both hands in the ground) doesn't actually seem to register hits all that often. Before he died he could have gotten a flinch and I assumed he would have but it just didn't do any damage at all and he got punished for it
They were both doing really consistent damage to each other in the first part Val had that initial HP difference almost the entire flight. But you could tell it was running low on energy near the end and kept getting interrupted In its charging animation so it’s attacks really slow down. Rajang really seemed to crank out more accurate special attacks near the end as well. Ended up being a nailbiter in the end
Crimson Glow Valstrax has this match, Furious Rajang put up quite the fight though, both had punishing attacks, but it all came down to how they were used effectively.

Our boy almost overcame a 2240 HP deficit. I'm surprised Rajang stunned Val at all but the way he was applying shock and hitting Val's head, Val is lucky she didn't get stunned twice.
@E Y thanks, they are two of my fav monsters in the game and whole series in general. they are perfect counter to each other. We also have lots of other big fights coming, so look forward to that 👍
As of late. I've been making progress in the Sunbreak DLC. I just beat Garangolm and am moving on to Shogan Cenitaur. Can't wait to fight the big boys!
Something I noticed, Rajang was able to apply thunder blight which was some help. Valstrax couldn't apply dragon blight due to it not being a thing we can use on monsters. If dragon blight was a thing, I wonder how that would look and if it would make the fight less close.
Wow now that was a viscous brawl, Furious monke wasn’t playing around and gave it his all, to put down the deranged elder. If that were the one from world I’m sure it would’ve won since it still had its tick damage but alas. I bet crimson glow against bazel or seething would’ve been even closer if not winning outright with its damage output. Oh and whenever y’all can please do espinas against bazel, awesome video as always 👍🏾.
@@MonsterSlayerSquad btw, could you use afflicted monsters for death match? If so I suggest doing afflicted Toni kadachi vs kushala Daora, or some other afflicted monster vs an elder dragon

Haven’t watched the fight yet, but I get the feeling that Furious is gonna be a pain to deal with while CG attempts to charge up more air. AFTER-FIGHT EDIT: That dragon beam spam was hilarious to see, I’ma be honest. And I’m surprised this didn’t end the same way the Apex Zinogre fight did with how many times CG was interrupted from air-charging for almost half the match. Good match, all things considered.

I've just reached RM100 and oh boy more to go from here lmao. Glad to see Valstrax win but my boy Rajang fared well thus far I'll dring a pint for my mad lad. Since the release of Monster Hunter Rise, I am in love with Monster Hunter didn't played the licence so far MHR is my first and hopefully not the last game I'll play from Capcom. And from all the monsters Valstrax is my best boy a fucking dragon with engine like aircraft so much genius here ♥

I might have expected Valstrax to win, but I didn't think it would be so close! Seething Bazel can't come soon enough, because I really want him to take on Furious and I can imagine that being quite the battle.
In game, I think Seething would win purely because it's a title update monster, and we all know those are adjusted for very late endgame. In lore, I think they'd tie, as suggested by the turf war between their two normal versions
@@marcobrancorsini2479 Adjusting for endgame won't exactly help in Monster-on-Monster fights. However, if Seething Bazelgeuse maintains the spreading bombs of its base form but improved, it'll do just fine.
Apparently Valstraax is your average MH player who love spamming large commitment attacks anytime they want only to get punish immediately but still keeps doing it anyways
tbh...if rajang had the same hp as valstrax, he would have won except if valstrax would just use his ambush multiple times...it seems to deal 1000 dmg xD no wonder i die there if i don't run for my life
The new game Rahang is a bit weaker and slower compared to the old games but still a deadly monster to everyone Valstrax won because he has more hp than Rajang, imagine if it's a fair fight 💀
One thing about this is that Rajang's attack range isn't the best so he whiff a lot of hits. I think if it was a gold crown size Rajang he would have won the fight.

Now Rajan has psycho crusher... well if it weren't for Valtrex 3000 health deference rajan would have killed him 3 mnts earlier bit dang that was a tight fight

Gotta be honest, its probably because im a sword and shield main and that i don't need much commitment to attacks.
Rajang was keeping constant pressure on Valstrax so that it couldn't take in air to power itself.

I was rooting for valstrax that whole time. It got me worried when it got into the last 1000 making me feel like there was going to be a comeback

So thats why all hunter always choose to run and panic dive rather than shield, that rocket dive are overwhelming even for rajang
