Me gusta ese arco es potente por como esta echo las palas con curvas y estando armado las palas quedan a 45 % muy bueno quiero uno asi porque es comodo
Wow, such an informative video! Thanks! I've been looking at the Pika as a longbow to transition to from just a Dorado Recurve. Something I could use for a lifetime. Your video pretty much sold me on it! Could I ask a few questions about it? Wanted to ask if you the weight difference between the take-down and one piece versions of the Pika? Also what poundage do you think is appropriate for a good shooting experience with the Pika? I don't hunt or anything, just want a nice draw while keeping arrows flying straight and shooting at longer distances. Seems like around 40 - 45# is the sweet spot. I also was thinking of 54" length. However, i draw about 29". Would 54" still be okay drawing to that? Do you also have a preference on the grips? Thanks!
So I have not noticed any difference in draw feel between the takedown and the one piece Pika’s that I own. I would say for weight go with 47lbs. Between my friends and I that seems to be a perfect weight and easy to tune. When it comes to length I would say the 54” would be on the shorter size. At a 29” draw that would create a little to sharpe of a draw angle on your fingers in my opinion so I would get the 56” Pika or the 58” Whistler. I have shot both of those quite a bit too and they are great lengths. Lastly for the grips just do the standard thumb rest grip. It is the best grip of any traditional bow! Your hand will sit perfectly on it! Also if you call Dan he loves to chat with people and is extremely knowledgeable. He will give you advice on arrow setup and everything. Dan and his son are extremely nice and helpful. Ps. I’m glad you liked the video and found it helpful!
@@rogueoutdoorshtkstw Thanks for the reply! I've spoken to Dan and am in the process of ordering! Your insight has helped me decide finally haha. So excited, thanks for all the help!
I know a lot of people that have had there Toelke takedowns for over 4 years now and no issues. One of mine is just over a year old now and absolutely no issue. But time will tell for sure.
Your shooting is a lot better than the other review video ! More controlled and a beautiful bow🤙🤙
The Pika is the only model of Dan’s bows I have not owned. Dan and Jared are really good folks.
Beautiful looking bow!
I'm a Black Widow Bow fan, but these Toelke bows make me want to get one!
What is the shelf cut to ?

I feel it will become loose over time and then break under pressure

What kind of quivers do you guys use on these?
I would go with one of the 3Rivers Mini-Boa 4 arrow quivers. They are amazing. That is all I use
The great northern is perfect too
Whats a good starter bow?
A great starter bow for the price is the Samick sage take down bow 62”. They are around $100-150.
How long does it take to get a bow from Dan?
It is normally about a month wait. Unless you buy a pre finished one. But it is definitely worth the wait for a custom build just like you want!
Longest I have waited has been almost 3 weeks from finalizing woods to delivery of the bow to my house. He is pretty quick.
Real cat whiskers?
Nope, they are small rubber strings to quiet the bow string.
Beautiful Bow and awesome takedown feature.
