What an awesome video, thanks for the upload, thst tour guide was awesome as well really helped with the emersive experience, felt like I was there with you all.
Thank you for your tour, i hope to see it myself one day. You had a really great tour guide, he explained most of my questions without you having to ask.
Thank you so much for making this public and huge thanks to both that awesome Guide and that poor claustrophobic fellow for his sacrifice and for getting this on camera so we all could enjoy it. Good people STILL exist, Folks. Don’t be dismayed as good people are in fact THE MAJORITY. Happy Hanukkah to EVERYONE. May God’s Holy Light shine upon us ALL! 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
Thank you so much for the fantastic tour. I find it hard to imagine all of the work that went into creating this underground city. Greatful that you gave thorough explanations of each of the features in the city.
This was outstanding. Wow! I felt like I was with you seeing what you were seeing. Thank you! My only suggestion, show us your faces so we get to know you better. 🙂
I'm curious to know how long it must have taken to carve out these tunnels and where the rubble from them were deposited. Also thinking there must have been a lot of sickness from lack of sun. And where are these people's skeletons? So many questions. Thank you for the tour! Would love to experience this some day.
Thank u for sharing i cant comprehend how there was visibility like they said candles but it is so clean no marks from fire also so very clean and smooth how i wonder how people slept what they used or kind of clothing etc but how was they able to build that wow..... also there is no documentary of this place 😮
Thank you for filming and sharing your experience. I would love to visit the Derinkuyu Underground City. I understand there are 17 levels below. Your guide is very passionate, which makes for a very interesting tour.
Wow just wow am just wondering how far you guys went down its just mind blowing on how much rock and dirt was dug out of there and how deep this is just looking at the pitcher at first just how deep is this and has anyone gone to the bottom of it wow thanks you for this little part of o e big pitcher
you missed so much the round stone laying on the floor there was a small tunnel behind it when you go threw that there is so many more levels and rooms
Amazing place, ming boggling as to how they would have built it .Read that they have found a few like this all connected to each other which would have held about 60000 thousand people
Hi, I live in a close city to Cappadocia. Do not worry. the earthquake did not affect this area. This area is very solid it stands up to maybe 12000 years. Nobody knows exactly when these underground cities builted

Greetings from Orange County california. Thank you for providing this video. That was interesting. One thing I can tell you is I could NOT live under there. Somebody else can have that and that hobby of crawling through underground caves. No way! 😄

Alright. Well let's get some plaster or Sheetrock, or some clay up in there or sump'm. Have a paint party or two or a hundred. Get a contract with IKEA to furnish the joint. We'll do it nice!
Did you charge a guide fee? There is a space called the winery, but they put the grapes in a big depression in the sandstone or limestone and stepped in it? The ceilings are not high enough to stomp grapes in. It's usually dark, and the smoke from the torches would kill you. A candle would work, but it's dark, dark, dark. Change filter and black light!
Here after watching ZackdFilms
Same.
I would have kept the secret of this place to myself. I don't care if that makes me an a hole. 😂

Glad you enjoyed it
God Bless You for sharing Christian remains to the modern world. Astonishing they built so many floors inside earth..
I was shocked that I could not find a full documentary on this.
Glad you enjoyed it

They must have been much shorter back then. Besides, I'm way to claustrophobic to live there. Very cool to see.
Thank you so much for this!
You're so welcome!

Did he say that one door connected to another underground city 10 kilometers away??
Yes there are something like three or four 'underground' cities that are connected together.
Yes, he sure did
Thank you for filming, you are brave! I wonder do the tunnels get smaller and smaller the deeper the levels..
They are! Thanks for stopping by !
probably easier to send the kids down the bottom and leave the adults at top. Sounds good now 😂
~7mins 15secs. Listen to the bassy sound it makes when they walk this pourrous stone😮
fr. sounds like wood floorboards

Glad you enjoyed the video!
How was the ventilation system hidden before it was discovered? Was it hidden really well or was no one curious to what it was.
I got claustrophobic just watching this video...
Wow that’s so amazing
Thanks ;)
What do you bet that there are cities like this underground everywhere you see pavement?!
Umm, that’s a hard no.
Thank you for doing what most people won’t do! You are brave people! Amazing archeological site. Image when it was fully functional!?!? Wow
Thanks for sharing

I've always loved History. They should teach the truth in schools though

What are those floors made of? The sound of feet sound odd.
Intersting !
Better hope the lights stay on 😂
Ufff, that would be scary.
I think little light from chimenys is enough to activate our rod cells.
Nice work 👌
Thank you! Cheers!
Perfect video 🎉

To find out more about Derinkuyu (underground city), here is my visit: th-cam.com/video/t2VhPZc734s/w-d-xo.html
Tq for this wonderfull sharing...
Why do all of the floors sound like they are not stone or ground? The foot steps sound odd.
Very Interesting

That was an elevator and not made for ventilation. It was an ancient pully system to bring goods from the bottom to the top.
Interesting
Dual functionality

Has this underground area been damaged by the recent earthquakes in this region?
Türkiye is a big country earthquake happened in another region
thank you
You're welcome
The only way that one could winkle the inhabitants out of there would be by siege, in those narrow passages armour and numbers count for zero...🤔
Definitely
fascinating...awesome!!!
Glad you think so!
This is like an ancient doomsday bunker on a much larger scale.
Definitely
Ancient, future, ancient again and future again.....who can really say for sure?
Greetings from Orange County california. Thank you for providing this video. That was interesting.
One thing I can tell you is I could NOT live under there. Somebody else can have that and that hobby of crawling through underground caves. No way! 😄
I can't imagine how dark it was back then. Sure they had light from candles but It had to be pretty dark still.
I would love to see an underground map of this
Amazing.....
Zac film had me tought its a big space, but in reality, its more like a crawling tunnel...😅
Ha! The rock filter the smoke. They were brilliant
If I was there, I’d be asking so many questions. Not just being silent
I have a question! WHY are the passages so short? Were humans really so small 3500 years ago?
It said in the beginning that it was created many years before Christ yet it was made by the Christians? How is that possible?
It was built 1400 years before christ .he was talking about what he think Christians would have used and so on
We're the people that lived there short?
These people were playing Minecraft in real life.
LOL
I wonder what happened to the Christian people in Turkey.
I wonder what happened to the jews in other christian countries
And to Muslims in Spain
The Ottomans mixed them with Turks and made them Muslims. Most of us have Greek 🧬 and Turkish 🧬. However, these people hid from the Roman Empire.

;) that would be quite the transformation, don't think it would last another 100+ years.
I'm sure it was a totally different experience actually trying to use these tunnels with basically just lamps for light.
Is this an actual tour guide, or like usual in Turkey, a random guy walking around with you that wants a tip afterwards?
Everyone needs to make a living. A tour is a tour by anyone who knows the history. They don’t have to be an official expert.
I thought, I was the only one who came here after watching ZackdFilm's video
Humans are amazing creatures, certainly. To think they meticulously carved all of this so long ago.
Did you charge a guide fee?

This shows people that time are slim n trim
They also had fridges😮, what?
Do they know the name of the Roman Emperor who ruled during the time they were in hiding?
As far as we are aware, unfortunately no one knows the name of the Roman Emperor who ruled during the time Derinkuyu was used as a place of refuge.
Love from zack films
Truly like an 8th wonder of the World
