Juries were on their majority musically educated while the majority of televoters may not be. The first place went where it has too. To the best one on the contest!
The jury is mostly music experts who recognize the technical skill demonstrated here. That is lost on a lot of people, or ignored in favor of other factors (voting for the underdog, political leanings, etc.) In the end, the #1 and #2 spots both had _extremely_ high scores (I think Nemo’s winning score is the third-highest in RSC history), so it’s absolutely fair to say that both were excellent.
