I agree. There were many questionable assertions in his teaching. And wasn't it St. Paul who said: "The will is in me to do good, but how to do good, I know not. For the good I would do, I do not, and the evil I would not, that I do." (or something along those lines)

For those 10's of millions without a stable family life, without stable employment, without good health, without any financial security at all, there is nothing but fear, contraction, contempt & hatred for others and self. This is why America is a dying nation, a cesspool of misery and suffering. This is why, in America, spiritual practices are almost exclusively the past time of the well-off and wealthy. The depressing truth remains: $$$ will buy you almost anything, which is why people kill, maim, and disenfranchise others in order to obtain it.
Pranams Swamiji, after hearing you I feel the mistake I have been indulging looking only towards the misery of loosing my wife recently and not looking at how I can involve myself in something useful to my extended self and to others, the choice is mine.
Please don't help others. In putting myself beyond all help, if I actually go that far, then only there is a possibility of helping others. In oneself the whole history of humanity is embedded, to realise this in the core of one's being is the essence of religiosity.
