I appreciate this so much. It was so wonderful to hear a New Zealand accent again as well. Four years ago I spent 5 months in Oxford, Canterbury at a YWAM base there and God worked so much in my life at that time. I accepted Christ when I was 4 but needed to experience Him on a deeper level. What I realized while I was there that has made the most difference in my outlook, is how much of my life I still needed to surrender and trust Him with. I’ve come to realize that is so, so much of being able to really live out the Christian life. Do you know what I mean? Thank you my sister in Christ for letting God use you to speak to others encouraging them in HIm. Also, I greatly respect people doing foster care to help others! I felt led to encourage you, and it has been my experience that when we make a concerted effort to do His will that the enemy kicks his hardest. I heard from a pastor once that sometimes we have these problems not because we are doing something wrong but because we are doing something right. I was going through such a difficult time in that moment in my life I broke down into tears in church. We were in a smaller sanctuary and it was kinda obvious to everyone I was crying but I couldn't help it, because I KNEW that word was just for me. I share this with you because God wants you to be steadfast in your faith and effort, don't give up! Keep going and push through. Praise God, rebuke these attacks in Jesus name and try to keep your heart light by remembering all the good He has done for you and will continue to do. May God bless you and may you know you are not alone. I'm praying for you.
What a wonderful testimony! I can definitely relate to this theme of dry bones. I've been dealing with health issues that have kept me somewhat secluded and homebound. There have been doctor and emergency room visits, tests and much waiting. (The wait for cardiology tests are 2 months out!) I'm hoping it's only a pinched nerve and caffeine sensitivity, not anything serious. (No coffee?! Now that sounds serious!) There are so many things I want to do that come with being healthy; alongside raising my children, I have God-given purposes I long to fulfill. While there have been countless blessings in my life, I feel a bit like Joseph waiting for my promise to spring up. One thing I do realize listening to this is how much I need community. How important it is that we uplift and pray for one another! How I need that flow of life and love that comes from connection to the Body. I need this relaxation. I had a really tough day yesterday dealing with trying to figure out a way to rescue my 67 year old mother and 28 year old sister from an abusive home. My stepdad reminds me of a Jim Jones type person coupled with a violent personality. We're seeking God to work out a way to get them from North Carolina to Louisiana out of his control. Please pray for them and us. This has been going on for over 25 years, plus my grandpa was violent and abusive with my mother as a child too. I believe she struggles with ptsd and paranoia because of all this abuse combined.

You broke something off me that I have been struggling with so deeply for my entire motherhood. When you said, you worry about the things you do as a mom, and how you guess its not any different than when you were a young mom....that SPOKE VOLUMES TO ME. As a young mom I wrestle internally with hearing and believing God when He tells me He knew what He was doing by giving me children. I never wanted to be a mom as a young adult in fear I would ruin them. When I got saved that changed because God put it on my heart to become a mother and have a family with my husband..but the fear never left. As time had gone on I still had that fear behind every mistake and every decision of ruining them and failing. If you as a much more experienced mother in the Lord with more children than I have can still question your decisions, then I know I don't have to listen to the enemy or beat myself up anymore because wanting to be the best mom and continue to strive to be better isn't because fear has me, its because God is calling me to new heights and to change for the better. It's ok for me to question and grow because even you as an experienced mom do the same thing. I always thought it was just because I wasn't good enough at this, because something was wrong or too broken inside me to do this motherhood thing correctly. But that isn't true. So thank you for sharing your struggle it went way beyond relating to you and actually facilitated a healing and a restoration of a much broken place by the power of the Lord through you sharing your testimonial. I'm adopted and that in it's self can be difficult for a child. Knowing that their own parents didn't or couldn't love them. To love a child unconditionally is God. Especially when the child has additional needs, this can be when more difficult on you. I know you are walking with God, this is evident in the love you are giving the sweet little ones of His. Hey Lady, so fast forward and here I am around 2 years later since my last comment. I had to thank GOD for this because I had asked Him for encouragement today. He gave me some scripture earlier and now this video once again two years later since my original comment. I've had your videos playing all day while I nurse my little girl and as an older mom who did not expect a little blessing 22 years after her first I am exhausted and needed a lifting of my head so much right now. It was such a blessing to listen to this again and be encouraged. Thank you sister once again and GOD bless you always. He is still Good all the time isn't He. 🤍🙏
Thank you so much! And from one "older Mum to another"...I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Even though I'm really, really tired. Thankfully my babies sleep through the night now but they're still very active. I'm 58 and my eldest is 33 and the youngest is 6, so it's a bit of a crazy ride when you're trying to do stuff that people in their 20s and 30s are doing, right?

Heavenly Father, I give you praise Lord. Thank you for my sweet sister and for her amazing heart. Lord, I pray she be given opportunities to be out on a more consistent basis, Father, maybe to minister to your children in hospital again or just to have someone take her for a coffee and a chat. Father, as you know, it's difficult having children sometimes! You know it better than anyone Lord! Not that we love them any less but at times the pulling on us can be great and a great weight. I praise you Lord for the refreshing she had and I pray she be refreshed in you more as she is your precious child. What a blessing she is to me, she is a refresher in my life and I thank you for her Father. Jesus I pray you call us up soon and when we are all together with you Lord, please help me find this sister so I can hug her and thank her for being such an encouragement to me. I'm adopted and that in it's self can be difficult for a child. Knowing that their own parents didn't or couldn't love them. To love a child unconditionally is God. Especially when the child has additional needs, this can be when more difficult on you. I know you are walking with God, this is evident in the love you are giving the sweet little ones of His. May He empower you to walk in His strength daily and He will renew and refill you always. Bless you sister, until we meet in Heaven.
