I’m an ISFJ 9w1 I would say I relate to creative subtype the most and also the normalizing subtype to some extent

Gracias to Joyce and Dario Nardi for a beautiful interview re one of the more hard yakker types of the MBTI- ISFJs. They are always there to safeguard the vulnerable and terrorized members of the society. Clearly more essential and needed in society now more than ever.

    Wide palette of sensory impressions.
    Very nice description

Strong element thematically of ISFJs (all subtype) being able to name what is needed in situations. As a metaphor of Ti with principled models of providing careful support as well.

My mom usually knows exactly what I’m feeling, she sounds normalizing ISFJ to a tee.

😂 That description of the ISFJ with the constant focusing on project tracking software details and then keeping track of where the team is on that as well as keeping the harmony is my boss EXACTLY!! 😂 I knew she was ISFJ but didn’t realize how perfectly she fits into the Normalizing variant until hearing that description. That is so funny! I love her though.

Yeah my Mother is an ISFJ and she was a pharmacist and created so much stability and gentle care. My parent’s house hasn’t changed like honestly ever. When I left home I was like oh my goodness that structure holy motherhood. My father is an ENTJ and gosh they didn’t make sense and also sort of like they were the only ones who made sense with the other weirdness. And I spoke very different languages to both. How did we survive hahah ENFP’s rock the boat for sure, but I also saw through everything and helped us all feel. INTP sister just watched and laughed.

INTJ here. “A doorway opens into the Akashi Records.” Yes!!
I’m dating an ISFJ so this was a fun interview, trying to figure out which variant she is! She went to culinary school, LOVES to cook and is pretty creative and even a bit into the esoteric (paranormal, crystals, etc.) which is so fun seeing that on top of the sweet, accommodating and nurturing, Fe, Si dom traits, so either the Creative or Harmonizing variant seems to fit her well. ❤

I am an ISFJ enagram 9w1 and I could identify with each subtype at different periods of my life.🕰
Currently, I am closest to harmonizing.
Very good and in-depth characteristics. 👍
    That's who we are. 🥰
Thank you for the interesting interview. 😀
