Q1A: I believe that's because Xehanort became so strong in will that he's able to arrive there with his body intact from Kingdom Hearts itself. Q2A: I think all but two Willful Darknesses have been except for Vanitas & the ones hidden within The Foretellers, Luxu & MOM. Unless there's a secret one hidden within Sora himself that we don't know about. Q3A: The Dark Seeker Saga is Xehanorts' past leading towards the events of KHBBS, KH, KH: COM, KH358 Days, KH2, KH3D & KH3 Q4A: I think that it's possible that there's a secret 14th vessel living within Quadradum, because if you reread the dailogue between young Xehanort & Eriquis, you'll see that young Eriques asked young Xehanort "How many lifetimes would you want?" & young Xehanort says "Thirteen, scratch that, fourteen." Young Eriquis would be shocked & then ask for why which Xehanort would then say... "Thirteen to recreate the new world & one more to explore the new world" I hope that I was able to help out, as I've said "I'm sure that HMK could correct me"
1:47 This part was skipped here, but Xehanort is saying that Ventus doesn't have to fear being corroded by the darkness of the corridor due to his heart having closed itself off. So this is right after Vantias was born and Ventus' heart was 'damaged' by the process. Had Ventus not been left in such a traumatized state ironically, his pure heart would have likely been gobbled up by the darkness.
It is also why Riku was out of breath when he returned to Hollow Bastion with Kairi via a dark corridor and why Maleficent said it was reckless of him to return without a vessel.
If you pick up the game yourself, theatre mode offers a few more interesting interactions when you select different characters than what is seen from just one.
Considering everything we've seen I wonder how much Vanitas is still one of the thirteen. I mean he clearly was one originally, but to what extent is he still what he was then? He clearly has genuine, albeit highly twisted, affection for his "brothers" as opposed to when he was a formless darkness in Ventus who merely possessed him because it was in the book. So how much of what he was as a formless darkness remains?

@@christophermitchell9739 From what we can tell, being formless entities makes you think differently from other beings so it stands to reason that when Vanitas was given a form through Ventus (just like how Ansem SOD did through Riku), he was able to distance himself from the collective consciousness of Darkness and think and plan for himself. It's certainly going to be interesting seeing Vanitas being basically the main villain for the coming games with all of this in mind.

Vantias took on form and somewhat emotions because of ventus and Sora. Now why this might be important you might ask? They’re situation is the key. As Odin stated the “ONLY” way to defeat the true darkness is to destroy a vessel. Knowing our boi Sora he wouldn’t want to go this route. So unknowingly xahnort created ANOTHER way via separating the true darkness from the vessel. Basically we are going to be seeing more vantias’s in order to save the vessels like the lost masters. Nort in ventus are definitely going to play a big role in this new saga. The only flaw i see in my theory is if the darkness are similar to vantias with an actual face emotions etc. They still would be difficult to defeat from soras moral standpoint.

The True Darknesses aren't natural creatures of darkness from what knowledge we have; the Master said that they were once human and only took that form to survive and win the war. So, I don't think destroying them would affect the balance at all.

And so far so good for Sora, him helping Ventus brought out one of the darknesses unintentionally, it could very well continue that batter. The brightest lights cast the greatest darkness, a theory that would probably be interesting to test out in a non-light and dark world like quadratum.
That line is talking about Ventus, and it makes sense in context. Reminder, Darkness in Union X said they chose Ventus because the Book of Prophecies said so. Nothing more, nothing less. The Player shared all that stuff with Xehanort, either through regular bedtimes stories or through his dreams and connecting to his heart. That Xehanort and Sora have the same ability to connect with other hearts is of no consequence here. It's a blatant retcon, like the numerous ridiculous ones in this game, but it's why Xehanort even brought Ventus to Land of Departure. He still cares about him as a "friend he never met" on some level, and he was being sincere when telling Eraqus that being with Eraqus, Terra and Aqua (in an ambient of "light") would be much better than for him to be around "darkness" like Xehanort. Might poison his heart and slowly corrupt him. Would have also made him unusable as a pure light for his Birth by Sleep plan.
Okay so here's something to think about then. Odin says that those who are vessels to the original willful darknesses are 'sacrificed'. If that is true and Vanitas is originally one of these Willful Darknesses, that how is Ventus still alive? According to Odin's logic, he should have died. Then again, Xehanort was able to separate Ventus and Vanitas and Vanitas still had form. I wonder if the MoM's keyblade has the ability to separate the two and still give darkness form in that manner. If so there's a good possibility that MoM and The Lost Masters will still be able to live through this, but who knows? I'll be interesting to see if what I am thinking is true. I could be wrong lol.
I thought the reason Ventus survived was because his damaged heart called out into the stars for help, and Sora's own heart felt him and connected to him to give him refuge? Maybe the fact that Sora connected to him as a possible Chosen to feel and connect to hearts, is the key to prevent the sacrifices, seeing as Ventus's heart did have the damage repaired over the time he was connected to and later slumbered within him. Half-assed theory, but I was just putting it out there.
"Necessary sacrifice" means just that the vessel will need to be killed later on to kill the Darkness, lmao. By this logic, you might as well ask yourself how the Lost Masters as a whole can even remain living when they became host to the 7 most powerful Darknesses during the Keyblade War. Getting possessed by one of these Darknesses doesn't mean you somehow instantaneously die.
So the malifacent cutscene can kind of point out a couple things. 1 the upper classmen were incredibly weak 2 malifacent got weaker over the years Or 3 sora Donald and goofy are way stronger than the keyblade welders in the past Which do you think is the case
So hold on a minute is it possible that dentist is like me perhaps a vessel who was not supposed to live? The reason I ask this is because like I said I was not supposed to live past the age of 2 years old and we both have special powers and the thing is if he is holding a special darkness that should have been extinguished but he no longer has that darkness because Master zhanoiy strips that part of him away and thus his alter ego was made. So now that ventus no longer holds the darkness within him and it now possesses a form does that mean that vent is still has to die or can he still remain alive? Because I assume that is why he was placed in the land of departure due to the fact that the main antagonist of the series is trying to keep him alive but yet his friend AKA the person he entrusted him within his care tried to take him out once he learned the truth. So was it really worth it to leave ventus in the care of the other Master after all?! And now that the darkness that ventus was housing was stripped away from him does this mean that he still can continue to live on or are people still seeking his death?! I just thought I would ask because the more I watch this reaction the more intrigued I wind up finding myself in terms of trying to piece together the story arcs and everything :-)
All right I know why he mentioning this but I'm speaking from the perspective of a person who is partially blind wish I unfortunately and indeed partially blind, when he and the others were in the keyblade graveyard and we finally see how ventus ends up being brought to the land of departure did he like knock him out with a rock or something? Because like I said from my perspective I didn't really see anything which is why I don't understand why they don't update the HD movie so we can see stuff happen. So what did actually transpire did he get knocked out or what exactly happened? If someone would greatly tell me I would greatly appreciate it :-) because like I said it's not easy seeing things when you can't really see very well my medical condition consists of hydrocephalus and LMC is worth multiple sclerosis and thanks to that I ended up with some really scarred retinas and badly damaged optic nerves which means a lot of images I try to process a pure blurry so it's like I have to put the images together like a puzzle and it sucks! Do we really know the reason why the progenitors of darkness would even want to do this sort of thing in the first place? I mean, if darkness' goal is to consume kingdom hearts, wouldn't it be prevalent to just simply destroy it? I know it wouldn't be that simple, but if we get rid of the one thing darkness craves, wouldn't it have no purpose to exist?
Thier goal is to simply spread which they already did. Exhibit A Vantias(one of the true darkness in form) created unversed(a whole enemy type)and thus spreading
They simply want to spread Darkness and probably cover all of reality with it in the end hence why Vanitas was so cooperative with Xehanort's plan; he was spreading a lot of Darkness without any of the True Darknesses even having to do anything.

So 7 true darknesses were indeed imprisoned inside of the bodies of the Ancient Keyblade Masters, surprised to see that the MoM is truly one of them though. 4 were imprisoned in the Data world (did we destroy those when playing Recoded? 🤔 Or during Re:Mind? 🤔) and 1 died during Daybreak Town’s destruction. And the last one possessed Ventus. 🤔 Kinda makes me wonder is Ventus still pure Light now? It's a blatant retcon, like the numerous ridiculous ones in this game, but it's why Xehanort even brought Ventus to Land of Departure. He still cares about him as a "friend he never met" on some level, and he was being sincere when telling Eraqus that being with Eraqus, Terra and Aqua (in an ambient of "light") would be much better than for him to be around "darkness" like Xehanort. Might poison his heart and slowly corrupt him. Would have also made him unusable as a pure light for his Birth by Sleep plan.
If anything this reminds us Disney villains can still be really damn lethal

Okay so here's something to think about then. Odin says that those who are vessels to the original willful darknesses are 'sacrificed'. If that is true and Vanitas is originally one of these Willful Darknesses, that how is Ventus still alive? According to Odin's logic, he should have died. Then again, Xehanort was able to separate Ventus and Vanitas and Vanitas still had form. I wonder if the MoM's keyblade has the ability to separate the two and still give darkness form in that manner. If so there's a good possibility that MoM and The Lost Masters will still be able to live through this, but who knows? I'll be interesting to see if what I am thinking is true. I could be wrong lol.
I thought the reason Ventus survived was because his damaged heart called out into the stars for help, and Sora's own heart felt him and connected to him to give him refuge? Maybe the fact that Sora connected to him as a possible Chosen to feel and connect to hearts, is the key to prevent the sacrifices, seeing as Ventus's heart did have the damage repaired over the time he was connected to and later slumbered within him. Half-assed theory, but I was just putting it out there.
Vanitas did not die though, you fight him in kh 3 remind has dark inferno X.
Dark inferno X is one of the 13 and inside ventus still.
"Necessary sacrifice" means just that the vessel will need to be killed later on to kill the Darkness, lmao. By this logic, you might as well ask yourself how the Lost Masters as a whole can even remain living when they became host to the 7 most powerful Darknesses during the Keyblade War. Getting possessed by one of these Darknesses doesn't mean you somehow instantaneously die.

So hold on a minute is it possible that dentist is like me perhaps a vessel who was not supposed to live? The reason I ask this is because like I said I was not supposed to live past the age of 2 years old and we both have special powers and the thing is if he is holding a special darkness that should have been extinguished but he no longer has that darkness because Master zhanoiy strips that part of him away and thus his alter ego was made. So now that ventus no longer holds the darkness within him and it now possesses a form does that mean that vent is still has to die or can he still remain alive? Because I assume that is why he was placed in the land of departure due to the fact that the main antagonist of the series is trying to keep him alive but yet his friend AKA the person he entrusted him within his care tried to take him out once he learned the truth. So was it really worth it to leave ventus in the care of the other Master after all?! And now that the darkness that ventus was housing was stripped away from him does this mean that he still can continue to live on or are people still seeking his death?! I just thought I would ask because the more I watch this reaction the more intrigued I wind up finding myself in terms of trying to piece together the story arcs and everything :-)

All right I know why he mentioning this but I'm speaking from the perspective of a person who is partially blind wish I unfortunately and indeed partially blind, when he and the others were in the keyblade graveyard and we finally see how ventus ends up being brought to the land of departure did he like knock him out with a rock or something? Because like I said from my perspective I didn't really see anything which is why I don't understand why they don't update the HD movie so we can see stuff happen. So what did actually transpire did he get knocked out or what exactly happened? If someone would greatly tell me I would greatly appreciate it :-) because like I said it's not easy seeing things when you can't really see very well my medical condition consists of hydrocephalus and LMC is worth multiple sclerosis and thanks to that I ended up with some really scarred retinas and badly damaged optic nerves which means a lot of images I try to process a pure blurry so it's like I have to put the images together like a puzzle and it sucks! Can relate that info to me I would be very grateful :-)

I only have one question in regards to vanitas being a pure darkness. Pure darknesses don't have form, but Vanitas does, so what does that mean?
It was probably due to him chilling around Ventus for too long.
Combining with Ventus and taking some of his darkness, which is why Ven became a heart of pure light

Do we really know the reason why the progenitors of darkness would even want to do this sort of thing in the first place? I mean, if darkness' goal is to consume kingdom hearts, wouldn't it be prevalent to just simply destroy it? I know it wouldn't be that simple, but if we get rid of the one thing darkness craves, wouldn't it have no purpose to exist?
Thier goal is to simply spread which they already did. Exhibit A Vantias(one of the true darkness in form) created unversed(a whole enemy type)and thus spreading
They simply want to spread Darkness and probably cover all of reality with it in the end hence why Vanitas was so cooperative with Xehanort's plan; he was spreading a lot of Darkness without any of the True Darknesses even having to do anything.

So 7 true darknesses were indeed imprisoned inside of the bodies of the Ancient Keyblade Masters, surprised to see that the MoM is truly one of them though. 4 were imprisoned in the Data world (did we destroy those when playing Recoded? 🤔 Or during Re:Mind? 🤔) and 1 died during Daybreak Town’s destruction. And the last one possessed Ventus. 🤔
Kinda makes me wonder is Ventus still pure Light now? Or did he regain his darkness after Vanitas’ defeat? 🤔
Also: I also wonder if Ventus’s darkness in his heart back during Union X changed that last darkness. 🤔 It seems a lot more different compared to the others. And did we destroy that darkness after we killed off Vanitas in BBS? 🤔
I also kind off get the idea that Vanitas kind off did feel a sense of belonging with both Ventus & Sora. Because he said that both if them define him and were his “brothers”. And like he so ewhat wanted to join, but that he could not as he was a true darkness (kind off like he was a darkness that grew a little bit of light inside of himself. But knew he had to go for his “brothers” to stay). 🤔
Well Vanitas did hint he would never be truly gone ever.
