Got myself the x90 pro a couple days ago. Sold my canon m50 mk2 to fund the purchase. Even though the canon is a mirrorless compact, it simply doesn't match the portability of a phone. I value portability more than absolute clarity, refinement etc. And I'm a casual, a good smartphone camera might be good enough for me.
i also opt for phone with good camera now. from beginning, i also bought mirrorless camera for its portablity. now the old camera is easily outperformed by phone like vivo x90 pro. not just the portability. DSLR or mirrorless camera needs user to put effort to take care the lenses from growing fungus. and, my place has high humidity. ugh.

yeah I think overall has been doing well, in heat tests it does get hotter, but performs still well, I don't however think it is great for gaming a long time, I would never advice any snapdragon 8 gen 1 phone for that.

I would say the X80 pro has a VERY slight edge on brightness, but found the od angles I have something with taking pics SLIGHTLY better on the X90 pro (so looking down in the screen at an angle. if camera is priority, it kinda depends, the main sensor on the X90 pro, but the rest, I would sudjest based on this video, you can see the difference and judge for yourself which you prefer.
@@ThroughJermainesLens What about the video viewing experience? Difference is huge or minor? BTW I like the photos of X90 pro.I was little bit skeptical about the zoom quality of X90 pro.
@@roypronay08 zoom quality is better on the X80 pro, but it isn't amazing on the x80 pro because the periscope is smaller in sensor and MP count (not a defining factor but still!) for the video experience, minor difference honestly, not a big difference, and the X80 pro does have that far superior fingerprint scanner.
Hello, great review, I want to ask you guys, what do you think is the best phone for product photography and what about nature for photographing distant objects, e.g. air days. ?
I would say currently Xiaomi 13 ultra (haven't used it but basing jt on the 13 pro that i do have, and that ultra does come with a x5 periscope. Or Sony Xperia 1 V, though less zoom
@@pgchem yeah downside is that the main lens is a wide angle, so you kinda get distortion in a sense of a wide look, Which is why I wish more mobile phone push for a "telephoto" lens upgrade where you get that close to 1" sensor for a 50mm!
