I have heard some people also use it after someone else says something. I’m probably listening wrong, but it sounds like: person 1 says something, person 2 replies with ”แล้ว“. Does this mean anything or am I probably mishearing them?
That "แล้ว" could just be "and?" It's something that's being used quite often by the Millennials and Gen Z Thais. An example in English Person1: You're seriously annoying, you know that? Person2: and? A question in a confrontational sense, like "what you gonna do about it?" It could also be dismissive like... Person1: "I'm so bored today" Person2: "and?" Like, what does that have to do with me? Idgaf about how bored you are.
I have a question: in the sentence ฉันจวนจะกินแล้ว the จวนจะ means you're about to do something, but then at the end there is also แล้ว so you did it already? That seems contradictory... Can you please explain?

@@ApatheticNonbuynary Oh thanks! I kinda thought that is what it was, but I didn’t think it would sound as rude.😅

Correct! จวนจะ means "be going to do something/ will do something soon"
แล้ว in this case is just the ending particle kha
